Oh hey, CP3 has taken over the thread.

I wonder who is 'offering criticism'. :nerd:

stick to general, i have S
In terms of what? Unbelievable.

did I miss out on the KD hate?

tbh he's probably a top 3 mid range shooter too
u think so? i dont pay attention to midrange enough to even rank em. i just know i try to emulate a lot of what cp3 does with my handles. ive come up with some crazy **** cuz of him. still cant get that fake bounce pass down tho.
it's his go to shot and he's very good at it

coming off a pick and roll the opposing big hangs back in fear of a lob and because if he plays him close cp will blow by him so he usually has that elbow jump shot open

we were debating in the heat thread earlier in the week about how not being able to shoot kills us on p&r. nobody has to worry about guarding a shot from a heat player so they always roll under the screen casually and are locked in. if we had someone who could really shoot that midrange or 3, our p&r between anyone and whiteside or anyone and bosh would be lethal.

cp3 is foolish to leave open at any given time. id say on a p&r against say him and deandre the inner 3 must rotate on defense so a wing is exposed instead of cp3 or deandre. u can leave cp open, u cant let deandre roll to the rim. its ur only chance

being able to shoot the midrange off the pick and roll is so valuable. having to defend the shot, the drive and the dish to the roll man along with having people set up in each corner is just hard to guard.

the warriors and dray have the added benefit of him being able to roll and pop out, so between him and curry alone that's 4 possible options between two players meaning at least 1 of the other 3 players is going to get an open shot

I think it is a no brainer to take an established dude over a dude that is just now coming into his best days.

That is just me though

do we need to talk about how pointless the term "pure pg" is again?

if you need to have qualifiers put in front of your position to be the best at something you're probably overrated

do you watch basketball or just like to hate on everything you disagree with?

warriors have 4 or 5 guys who can legit handle the rock and create for others. which is part of the reason why steph can do what he does. put steph on the clippers you think anyone needs to think twice about trapping that PnR or double teaming him?

no one in the nba can take and make the kinds of shots he takes and makes

the warriors talent allow him to play off ball but the a lot of the shots he takes are so incredible that he can get those looks on any team

chris paul hardly gets double teamed so I dont see your point, putting steph on the clippers team would open up a lot more open looks for the rest of the guys

an established dude who has been hurt over the past few years and might not even be the best player on his team

over a guy who has won finals mvp, DPOY and is right behind steph for MVP this year

kawaii has it all, KD is just very good at one thing
