Am I the only one that thinks KD/Harden could be > KD/Westbrook.

Maybe, but If that combo did work better, I don't see it being all that much of a difference. It's more about the ancillary pieces that would make any real difference, in my opinion.

Having said that, you know where I think KD would be a perfect fit? Minnesota!

Seriously though...Of course I think about that being a Wolves fan, and despite it being unlikely, just think of how quickly that team would rise. KD and Towns, with Wiggins providing some scoring and Rubio distributing to all...they'd have all the other nice little assets to round out a good looking team.

@DarthSkaWho has the inaccurate opinion? Ken?

What's the next things he could say?

Ken: "I don't want my superstar to be a choir boy!....I want to him be a killer.....a ****** dog * woof*...you feel me? .....all the goats are jerks....Bonds...jerk....LT....jerk...Bird...jerk.......Kobe...jerk....Clemens...jerk....Brady...jerk.......that baby face **** ain't got the rings Jordans got...he was getting locked down by dellavedova...Iggy had to come save him knocking down shots in that *****boy Lebrons face. Til Steph gets as many rings as Jordan don't talk to me about him 6>1."

And that's not some wild obscure opinion. That's a mish-mash of real discussions I've had with people on here and playing Basketball.

I've been meaning to mention I appreciate the articles you post in here. Cereal :pimp:

For your contributions, you have earned no more D Rose jokes for the rest of the month.

I don't see how Harden/KD could be better than WB/KD.

They're all equally ball dominant.  And Westbrook is a significantly better leader/defender than Harden.  I would argue that he's been a significantly better player actually, with the exception of Harden's amazing run last year.

I hate how large free agents like KD wouldn't even think about going to smaller teams like Minnesota with potential in favor of making Big 3s etc somewhere else. Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to go to Miami, GS, or Cle

Ainge didn't fail at the draft, Michael Jordan failed at the draft. Ainge offered him picks to pull Winslow and MJ stupidly said no. That ain't on Danny and you know it. So no, they didn't fail with their 2015 picks at all, since they seem to be doin just fine currently.

That is a fantastic spin job dude. I guess Jordan should hold ainge's **** when he takes a piss too. It's danny's team, it's danny's plan, it's danny's job. He's the one that didn't get it done. He had a plan and didn't execute it. That's a fail. The assets weren't good enough. Ainge mentioned that he tried to trade with several teams in the lotto and nobody was biting.

I already said they look good for now. I really don't expect them to keep it up and finish the year as a 3 seed. The only pick that matters is BK's. Miss me with the rest.

If ainge is able to pull it off I'll be on my knees right next to you topping him off. And if he doesn't I'm not expecting you to come in here patting me on the back telling me I was right.

Here's the thing.....

You hyped RHJ's injury as the reason the Nets aren't too good right now.

Your current favorite Laker core piece is Jordan Clarkson.

Draymond Green.

The Nets pick is ALL that matters, miss you with the rest. Yet......you seem to value late first, early/mid second round picks......

:nerd:

Boston currently has #4, 19, 22, 31, and 35.

Clarkson was 46.

I mean, seems like Boston could pull the next Clarkson. Or Draymond, etc. Or they'll pull a nobody as well, I'm sure they will miss on at least 1-2. But they have 8 bullets. And for some reason you just assume they'll waste them, when it seems like Ainge/Stevens have done a damn good job developing the young players they've taken to this point, why would that stop now?

*here's the part you'll downplay Clarkson, say Draymond isn't all that, RHJ is just a good fit for the Nets, etc*

They are in New York City dating the same girls?

It's not like they are in a place like Portland where the pool is smaller.
I'm in Portland

The fact that Wolves fans still include Ricky Rubio when they talk about the teams future is disturbing

Why?

The things he does well, he does really well. If you have a KD, Towns and Wiggins, his shooting becomes less of a concern for me. I wouldn't be horribly upset if he wasn't on this team in the foreseeable future either, but your statement makes it seem outlandish to think that way, which is silly.

The team with the players and picks to get a deal done without touching the core would be the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics have a treasure chest of draft picks and expiring contracts, something that would benefit the Rockets in the long run.

Here is a look at a hypothetical trade that could work for both teams:

Houston receives
David Lee
Jonas Jerebko
2016 Boston first-round pick
2016 Dallas first-round pick

Boston receives
Dwight Howard
Montrezl Harrell

Although this trade could knock Houston out of the playoff race, the Rockets would be able to add two first-round picks, as well as their own first if they miss the playoffs. The Rockets currently have the 13th pick in this year's draft and will send it to Denver if they make the playoffs. With Lee’s expiring contract and Jerebko’s non-guaranteed salary for 2016-17, the Rockets could have close to $27 million in cap space. Good enough for a max salary in free agency.

For the Celtics, the addition of Howard could move them closer to the level of Cleveland and Toronto. Acquiring a player like Howard without moving any of their core pieces would make the Celtics a dangerous out come the spring. The Celtics also would not have to move the unprotected 2016 and 2018 Brooklyn Nets first-round picks or Memphis' future first-rounder.

This deal would not hurt the Celtics in the summer if Howard does decide to walk. Boston would have the same cap space if it would have kept Lee and Jerebko, just minus two first-round picks in the mid 20s.
Nope, not possible. They gotta move the Brooklyn pick to get Howard or anyone else of value. Everything else is trash.

I watch Inside anyway for the comedy, but there's no way anyone can convince me Chuck watches the NBA on nights he's not working.

I get what you are saying. But that opens up 27 million in cap room for Houston also with 2 players coming off the books. All depends on how they view this season I guess.

one of these days Alice, one of these days..

@Freeze...I am about all worn out man with our Stones :rolleyes

Denver???! At the Palace....On Billups night.. Man we falling fast bro.

fam I legit have no clue what they're doing these days. Now I will say they sort've had an excuse Wednesday with 3 starters out of the lineup. Pope hurt, and Reggie and ILLY both sick af were sent home. So there's some understanding there when Steve Blake Gawd is your starting PG. But yea..they're in 9th place now. Only silver lining is the fact the East is so tight this year. They're in 9th, but just a game and a half out of 6th place. Two and a half out of 5th. So, things can definitely change in the last 30 games. They need to piece together a mini streak. At the very least against eastern teams
