Steph is like bow wow in like mike. Dude laced up them UA and became a monster

:smh:

If Cam won UA stock would be going crazy. But the fact Nike has fallen off in the last few years on bball shoes and Steph is doing this..... :smh: Them Kyrie's must be collecting dust.
For real? The Kyrie One was the best looking intro shoe I've ever seen

Penny hardaway rolling over in his grave

I'll go ahead and play contrarian/devils' advocate since I'm so used to it.

Steph ain't even close to GOAT.

I'm not just saying, "He ain't the GOAT."

I'm saying not even CLOSE.

Not right now.

"Son, if he keeps this up..."

Exactly. If.

What if he gives another 2/3 years like this, wins another championship or 2 in that time... and then falls off HARD? Then he's got 3 or 3 rings, tons of deep shots, easily top 3 on the all time 3s list... but GOAT? Even if that's how it plays out, that's not even close to dudes who have 4, 5, 6... double digit championships, with just as many FMVPs.

He needs' to do what he's doing for another 7, 8, 9, 10 years to be the GOAT, just like other potential and eventual GOATs before him.

A few seasons does not a GOAT make.
I think Steph can sustain this level of play for many years to come.

The success of his game is based on his skill set, and not his athleticism. With that being said, I can't see him just falling off "HARD."

Now he has a long way to go to be considered the GOAT, but I can see him being successful for a very long time.

Yeah, that was the glaring error in my rant.

I don't disagree. Just need that to happen is all.

For the sake of the world just being full of unknowns, you can't bank on this.

I hope it happens, it is fun to watch man. People love seeing this. But projecting anything in the FUTURE, sports-wise, you just can't.

I am sure OKC would have told you in 2012 that they would have went back to the Finals by 2016.

So much foolishness in here. Saying lebron wasnt getting rode like this? It was worse. It went on for years UNTIL stephs emergence (where everyone acknowledged him) last year. Lebron was the talk of every sports show, every magazine, garbage *** movies, commercials, football season? No problem! Let's talk about how lebron would dominate in football. Foh

Some of yall hate to see a young dude winning lol. This is actual greatness you're seeing. They will talk about this Warriors team in the ranks of the 96 Bulls. Steph has put together a goat season, and approaching a goat team. Sit back and witness... For real this time tho.

Curry is a way more exciting and entertaining basketball player then lj ever was. I never enjoyed seeing lebron play.

Agreed. To me, it's not even close. Lebron's best season, versus Curry's current season. Not even on the same planet in terms of excitement and enjoyability. Not even in the same galaxy.

All I know is Steph is what the league needed.

Hero for casual fans, villain to the majority of other players, Superman to stat geeks. All coming out of a small school in North Carolina, with wife and kid. Very easy story to sell.

I made that statement considering why he is successful now. He doesn't rely on his athleticism. He really has game.

He reminds me of Steve Nash, who kept elevating his game until peaking in his 30's and sustaining that until he was just about 40.

Steph is only 27, and ahead of the curve at this point. He has a chance to do some special things.

I understand why you did it, just saying that you can't bank on anything happening in the future.

I am not saying it can't happen. But injuries are always right around the corner for all humans.

I want it to happen though.

You must be itching to argue LeBron and Steph tonight man, he didn't even mention LeBron in his post LOL

Everybody clowning big o but they too dumb to realize he was right. Steph Walked into that like he was shooting in his backyard all comfy and relaxed

Even in moments of crisis such as the one in this clip, you have to remain disciplined, which is hard as hell against the Warriors.

No way should you be running away from STEPH CURRY with 6 seconds left. You should be picking him up and trying to turn him, making him work the ball up the floor. Also, the transition from offense to defense here from OKC is piss poor. Everyone has to get in front of the ball to help in regards to Roberson's pressure.
Exactly. I have no idea why they didn't play tight or man to man like Courtknee Finegan on Receivers.  Dude was fatigued and gave him space like he had Halitosis (which curry proally does).  You play tight in the last few seconds. ALWAYS.

But what about WESTBROOK, the clown dude who think he all hard with his triple double rampage last season.  What kind of a defender are these guys?  Straight up garbage!  Same with KD (knack magnet), legit trash dude who can't guard no one.  Guys talking about stats, but can't lock down NO BODY.  Go back to UCLA and TEXAS and take Philosophy 101.

I agree. What the hell did they think was going to happen. He should have been picked up full court, Pat Beverly/Marcus Banks style. No reason he should have gotten such a clean look

I agree with the entertainment value. Steph's unique ability to shoot the ball is almost as enjoyable as Jordan's unique ability to score the ball.
