DC is right its situational any good player is gonna know the clock at that time and pick him up full court. Dude let him get those 2 hard dribbles to get in rythem and gather uncontested.

Lol i guess u guys were never into college hoops

Exactly. Lol I followed his whole career at Davidson. And in 09 on draft night, when the first 6 picks happened and he was still on the board I was so ready man. And sure enough stern came out and proceeded with "with the 7th pick, of the 2009 NBA draft, the golden state warriors select..." And boom it happened. My favorite college player was on my favorite NBA team. After his rookie season, I still knew he'd have a way better career than tyreke. After his ankle problems I still believed. But ya, never would have I thought he'd be this good, obviously. But I knew he was something special

I always knew he could shoot from his time at Davidson but I had no clue he would be this good and dominant like he is now. It's amazing to watch

Yeahhhh,

you're missing the point though.

It lowkey has nothing to do about the shot steph chose to take. With 6 seconds left, you want your team to bust their tail to get in front of the ball, and you want some sort of pressure on the ball to make the clock work against the offensive player. It's not like steph got the ball and took off running. He was coasting, there was enough time for Roberson to pick him up and try and make him change directions at least once.

That to me is a way better alternative than having the best player in the league coast up the court. The shot he chose to shoot is irrelevant to the logic behind what I feel should have been done. You should never be in full retreat like roberson was with 6 seconds left.

Bro! This is the NBA, not women's college ball. You don't see nba teams do all that unless it's the 90's Bulls, 97 Kentucky widcats, 90's runnin Rebs etc...

Knock it off fam

Seriously, EVERYONE knew he could shoot but that's it coming out of college. Again, nobody thought he'd be special like this. You one of the, fronting *** dudes if you say "oh I knew all along after seeing him in Davidson he'd be the second best guard next to MJ" yea ooookkkay

Been watching nbatv trying to catch as many replays as I can. There will never be anyone like this

remember when he would get benched for Acie Law for part of his rookie season?

Most def all about the work and to have the balls to do all the trickery in game that he does pre-game

It's crazy seeing the Warriors be this good. Like damn. You gotta give em props. But damn. To go from being so bad to so good is something else. Aside from the we believe season, they didn't make the playoffs at all between 95 and 2012. To see them go from that to dominating the league on a historical like level. It's still hard to beleive for me lol.

From 95-2012 we had 2 winning seasons and 1 playoff appearance.

Glad the Chris Cohan and Robert Rowell era is dead and buried

Some of you are calling it wrong by equating pressure with 'a shot threat'. The defender presses to create a possible turnover (see Durant being bottled full-press at end of regulation)..if he was treated like his guys treated Steph at the end of OT, he wouldn't have thrown the game away. Steph should have been pressed to create a possible turnover regardless of his shot selection. Robinson played it too loose and gambled for Steph to take a 'typical shot'. Nothing about Steph is typical

That's why DC is saying this shouldn't have happened..
