True. They won like 49 games or so in 08. But Denver won 50 and got in as the 8 seed.

It's something else watching this current team though. 53-5 though. That's like just a bit over a 1 loss a month average.
 
After seeing their intensity on Defense, I'm still not ready to put the D back in Thunder but....it does show me that they can D up if they want to. They can fix the mistakes from tonight's game in the film room. Rookie mistakes and these guys are vets. It can be fixed, and will be fixed.

this group actually plays defense. Those We Believe teams with Baron and JRich and Monta were awful teams defensively
 
i feel like steph is a gift from the basketball gods from all those draft day busts the Warriors had all rolled into 1..

No player like steph can turn an away arena almost into a home game.. the only place this year i did not notice that was in utah and boston and even then there was the ooohs and ahhhhhs

the Warriors give me hope that after decades of dysfunction the Knicks could someday win a championship :smile:

Kobe didn't hit his first 3 until 5:30 left in the second quarter.

He had 11 by the end of the 3rd.

He scored 38 of his 45 in the 2nd-3rd quarters and the only 3 he took in the first was a heave at the buzzer.

He basically hit 12 3's in a half.

Even people who wanted Monta traded instead of Curry had not even CLOSE to a clue he'd be this good....hell NOBODY, not even currys biggest fan since Davidson thought he'd ever be this good which is why I laugh at these clowns acting like they knew steph would be great.
