Maybe Kobe has a plan.. He's going to have a one on one with Durant all game. They'll battle back and forth, and then in the closing seconds, Durant crosses Kobe, he falls down on purpose and KD drains a 3 over Kobe's lifeless body.

Kobe retires on the spot. But young padawon D'Angelo sees this occur. In between checking his Instagram and snapchat on the bench, he sees Kobe extinguish. It inspires him and he begins to learn the way of the Laker. And Kobe is never too far, as his ghost remains in Staples Center for years to come.
wtf are you talking about

You're sounding like a very eloquent Bravelude right now, minus the meat.

Julius Randle's motor and physicality are already out of this world to me.

His lack of a jumper, and being able to finish with his off hand hurts him so bad though. Leaves him barreling into the lane and throwing up caca most of the time.

This years draft put out some heat.

I thought last year was supposed to be the greatest draft ever since that whatever year.....

I don't follow College ball at all outside of Oklahoma and March Madness...I'm impressed

Outside of kat which player from this year's draft has really impressed you in the regular season

This is a popular narrative but so overblown. So overblown

not to make the comparison again but randle reminds me of early blake griffin post moves where he jumps into people and somehow awkwardly throws the ball in

if you got a top 10-15 pick it was almost impossible to screw up

this could be one of the greatest draft classes ever 5 years from now

I picked him in the first round of my dynasty draft

It's really not. He went up against a weak frontline today. Dwight Powell is terrible on D. Dirk doesn't even try. Like Shoeking said, his motor runs really high. He's very quick and physical.

But he's a turnover machine at the PF spot. Part of this is because he can't finish with his off hand, and always goes back to his dominant hand. Like that lil pump fake over the head thing he does when he drives right.

When a PF sits on it, it's an instant turnover or block.

Young BG was a clearly superior player than Randle. His handle and vision were and are light years ahead of Julius. Also a better athlete. Comparable in rebounding and pushing the ball. That's about it.

Blake probably had the greatest rookie season since '03 Melo. 22/12. Sheesh

Blake had a whole year to eat sleep and drink NBA ball though.

Yes it's not the same as playing but he didn't waste his injury like it seems some would have(Embiid).

He got right to work

This is essentially Julius Randles rookie year.

He played 7 minutes last year. He's a rookie in my eyes. Similar to Blake on that front. Blake got injured in like the last minute of his last preseason game in '09.

So Randle has had a whole year to Digest the NBA as well.

Some great players only had one hand

I don't think I've ever, ever ever seen him make a layup with his left hand

Thank you. I was in the middle of typing this when I saw your post.

Re: off hand. The majority of players favor their strong hand and rarely go opposite. Harden, duncan, Tony parker, zach randolph the list goes on and on. You need to be able to drive with both hands and get a good enough angle to where you can finish with whatever hand you please. It's ok if he drives right and finishes left...it still counts. We He's capable of driving with both hands, finishing is a work in progress but what he really should work on is not being so predictable with his timing otherwise those shots you guys are talking about aren't getting up clean no matter which hand he throws it with

Yes sir. I was referring to Randle and comparing it to Blake in that way. I just worded it wrong.

They both did it right, I think highly of them for it.

Kristap, Mudy, WCS, Jerian, Mario, Hollis-Jeff, Myles

Haven't seen Jah really

Jah is good but Gobert last game made him think a lot about getting close to the basket.

Gobert is fun to watch on defense. Guys just hesitate when driving to the rim.

if kobe plays 82 games, how many throwback games will he have? (like dirk's tonight)

i say 12

he'll have at least a handful. his bball mind is too strong not to figure out ways to exploit what he's given. right now i think he's still testing his body to see what he can and can't do. that contusion took away his training camp and post season so this is the experimental stage. he really doesnt look that bad for someone with as many injuries as he's had. conditioning looks decent. the rhythm will come back in time. these other old guys are flourishing, kobe will figure it out, he just has to be able to stay on the court to do it.

No kobe is washed its not even funny many i swear he needs his *** knocked out for not retiring already. Son is beyond useless now

You know your career is over when you get outplayed by nick young

And d russ boy oh boy... Only 3 games in but son is a trash can with sneakers on you could photoshop a garbage can with sneakers on and i couldnt tell the difference

Im beyond heated about those two clown shoes

Orange julius randle is a beast though him and clarkson

Hate laker management for not trying hard to get kat

3 for 15 man 3 for 15!

Kobe went 3-15?

I know why he doesn't stop playing but the only thing I can ask is 'Why doesn't he stop playing'
