Grouping Melo with the likes of Lebron and Steph as MUST SEE basketball is a ******* joke.

Go back and look at what I posted and tell me where I said he wasn't entertaining or didn't have a complete game on the offensive end. Talk about moving the goalposts. Go sit down.
 
Only time I ever watch Melo is during the all star game, the Olympics and when he plays my Bulls.

Son can retire tomorrow and don't think anyone outside of NY will care :lol:

Too early to judge but:
Sixers:
Noel: Stud
Okafor: Stud
Stauskas: Showed potential last night but will have to wait and see
Embiid: It looks like two extremes, Franchise cornerstone or Bynum 2.0
Covington: Solid

Looking ahead: Saric is projected to be a solid role player that will fit nicely with Okafor and Noel as a stretch 4 off the bench, they have a ton of picks and a ton of cap space. It will be interesting to see what they can do once they decide to be a basketball team.

Lakers:
They are trying to be competitive and trying to win all while re-building for the future.
Clarkson: Solid
D'angelo: Trash (So far)
Julius: Blake Griffin

From a management prospective, they are looking to shake things up and become more analytical in their approach. They have a crap coach and old Kobe. If they suck enough this year, they might be able to actually keep their pick this year or else it goes to Philly.

Comparing both situations, the Sixers seem to have a clearer approach while the Lakers are figuring things out. The Lakers are a big market and will eventually land a superstar. they seem to have more options rather than betting all your money on draft picks.

Either way, just saying the Sixers have a brighter future may only be by a marginal basis. Still too much unknowns all over.

we've made it out of the 1st round more or about the same as HOU and LAC has over the last 4-5 years thooooooooo

as for the chalmers rumor, goodness. :lol:
