It's not even that complicated Kobe tore his shoulder in what January, wasn't able to shoot until late September, then gets a leg injury that keeps him out for half of the preseason.

He looked like he had lift on his jumper and was still able to get to the pinch post area for the most part with ease. Now for a guy that shoots thousands of shots each day to not be able to shoot consistently for 7 months and you factor in the conditioning aspect to get your body acclimated back to NBA game action that he's not been able to do as well that's what you get a a result.

The 1st half of the 1st game was pretty good on him getting the ball where he wanted, but since then I don't know if the leg is still not there yet or what but this is basically his preseason, I still think he can turn it around.

bruhhhh the D.rose news is cooking right now.

Derrick Rose: Chicago Bulls 'Have Moved On' From Starting Point Guard, Report Says
"The breakup with the Bulls has begun,” NBA Insider Brian Windhorst said on ESPN Radio. Rose has missed 102 games over the past two seasons due to injuries.

Sounds like Steph Curry is poised to take Kobes place on the daily player debate list

A lot of his washedness is due to his style of play and shot selection. He really thinks he's still the same player he was 5 years ago and that's the problem. Nothing about shooting a contested jumper or posting up with zero lift is a good idea, yet he still does it. The injuries are a factor but it's in dudes head. Every other old great that's still active has either made adjustments or conceded that the old days are over.

I think his shoulder is still not healed his shots have never been this erratic..wide right wide left short long even his turn around mid range is off...he has no lift either so I agree..

I don't necessarily trust Windhorst, but I wouldn't be surprised if that Rose news was true. The guy honestly seems like he doesn't care that much anymore. Maybe a change of scenery would be good for him and the Bulls.

It just sucks overall for the team, Kobe doesn't practice with them much and it was said by the commentators that that trend will likely contiune

Tough to build any kind of chemistry like that. Especially considering Kobe's never really played with that specific core to begin with. It would be different if this were past Laker teams and he wasn't practicing

Kobe hasn't regularly practiced in years.
