why is everyone writing off the Grizz already? i know they play in the west but arent the Grizz one of those teams that turn it on usually in the 2nd half of the season?

Well, usually when people write them off every year, I'm the one to back them saying its too early. But, the Grizz have never looked this bad overall. Its pretty concerning. They looked a lot better yesterday, but their two best players still didn't look that great. They also had a tough schedule to start the season, but that also doesn't mean they should've got beat by 50, 30 and 20+. I'm sure they will eventually make a strong playoff push, but as much as I backed the team in year's past, I believe the writing is on the wall this season. They truly need to upgrade the perimeter this year to really have a shot at making a deep playoff run. Its too difficult to survive games with the lack of perimeter depth we have.

Give us Zbo. We'll give you Nene and Alan Anderson.

Nah plehboi. I want young assets and picks if we busting the team up.

Also, dating back to the last 50 regular season games, I believe the Grizz have a .500 record of 25-25. So, this actually start occurring once we acquired Jeff Green.

Next game is against GS. There will be no turnaround. Out west either your a contender or rebuilding. The Grizz are no longer contenders.

Things don't get any easier for them after GSW. I do think they will win their next two games against PDX and Minnesota, but then they have....OKC, HOU, @SAS, DAL, @HOU, ATL, PHI, @NOP, SAS, PHX, OKC, @DET

Out of those 12 games, they may not even come out with a .500 record witih how they're playing  . They really have to turn it on they want to.

A CP3 x Blake Avy would look great on you :pimp:

How much more money do you honestly believe that Kobe would bring to the table?

I'm not about to sit here and crunch numbers but common sense should tell you Kobe Bryant being the 12th man on the team would be more lucrative from a marketing perspective than a Gordon Hayward, klay Thompson, or whoever the hell that last spot would likely go to.

But you're not taking into account that LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis, etc will already be on the team. So how much MORE revenue do you truly think Kobe would bring in that isn't already accounted for?

What difference does it make?

There'd only one person on that list that sells more shoes than Kobe Bryant.

I actually think the T-Pup's win tonight was MORE impressive because they blew a big lead. For such a young team to have that happen and still hold on against a good team on the road - impressive.

Agreed 150%.

Can you see the Wolves making the playoffs this year?

Kobe wants to play for Team USA. Dude's like the 5th best player on his own team

is pop taking over the next olympics or is it K?
duncan should be in it, dude is missing a gold medal on his list. thanks larry brown :smh:

Andy Reid?

I don't get it.

Wizards vs Thunder. Wall vs Russ. Walrus.

I hope we'd all at least agree that Dion Waiters should just be out of the league.
Nah, but he needs less minutes, for sure.

Agreed 150%.

that settles it, kobe and TD should be on the team. Might as well throw KG on that joint too. That ill na-na veteran leadership. Then all the rest can be young talent. Still unbeatable.

I don't think it will happen, but I wouldn't say its impossible. Assuming they stay healthy, the Wolves have an overall more talented roster than the Pelicans did last year and they made the playoffs. So, I'd say they have a very outside shot.
