Since when has a elite perimeter defender been worthy of a 2nd overall pick? How has his game translated into team success? I must be really missing something with this dude. I can't remember him ever shining since coming in the league. Srs

I just did slight research. He's 9 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Ast career average. He gotta be holding elite scorers to well under their average to justify that 2nd pick. BUST.

MKG is just a good athletic, high energy defender type. The kinda player you can get in the 2nd round or for not much in free agency. Anytime you base potential as a main reason to draft a guy that high, it normally doesnt bode well. Just look at MKGs teammate Marvin Williams when it comes to that lol
