Incredibly sad.

I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about Flip as a man. He's always praised by ESPN employees as being kind and generous, I heard russillo and cowherd both numerous times on their podcasts saying how much they enjoyed talking hoops with him behind the scenes.

RIP.

My dad said you heard about Flip, I said yeah he's taking the year off. He said no, he just died. :wow: :smh:
 
I can't believe how fast flip faded. It doesn't seem like he was diagnosed that long ago. Wow man.

I am genuinely saddened by Flip's death. If I recall his prognosis was good when he first announced he was sick but then things got progressively worse. :smh::smh:
 
RIP Flip. Cancer is no joke. Recently, most of the patients that I've had pass were due to cancer or cancer complications. I hope he had a decent quality of life toward the end and his family has the support they need. Prayers up. 

Dude was only 60. More than a few of my family are around that age...Hug your loved ones, fam.
