On the Pelicans note, Joel Myers is one of the better local commentators IMO. Remember enjoying listening to him when he was with the Lakers and before Kobe was washed

Been my favorite local announcer for awhile. I like that he's not afraid to criticize the Pels at appropriate times. The farthest thing from a homer in terms of local NBA broadcasts.

C'mon man, you have the most unlikeable head coach, franchise player and 2nd best player of any team in the NBA

Doesn't make an opinion less valid

If anything, it gives lawdog all the experience in the world with unlikable players.

Oh don't get me wrong, I can completely see how the Warriors can be unlikeable. Showboating to the max. But I just marvel at how good Curry is so I'm fine with it

Nuggets bout to complete the comeback

Anyone worried this over reliance on Curry going superhuman is going to come back and bite them later on?

The lack of involvement of a 2nd scorer couldddd come back to haunt them if / when steph comes back down to earth, relatively speaking.

I doubt it has enough to effect what they are gonna do as far as wins and losses are concerned, but it could possibly. They've got to get Klay going.

That's what I'm saying. There's just no way he can keep this up. Right? Right?!?

Warriors are way too deep to worry about that. They proved that in the playoffs last season. Their second unit is ridiculous, and they can swap out a guy here and there to tailor it to the opponent.

Does curry even take layups anymore? 2 point layups I mean. Bruh has some of the best touch on his floaters and finger rolls and he's hardly ever in the paint anymore

Well, I saw a stat that says that regular season wise, he's shooting like 50% or something from 3 since the AS break last year so maybe

Nah but he'll come down a bit I'm sure eventually. However, he's the greatest shooter ever (and it's not even really close) so even if he comes down a bit, he'll still be a flamethrower from out there.

It's crazy to see how much effort he puts into improving himself. Just think if half the other players in the league had his work ethic.

not really worried.  They get contributions from everyone in terms of scoring.  Beauty of having great depth and unselfishness.  Klay normally disappears comes playoff time anyways so W's don't really need to develop a #2 scorer.  Whoever gets going gets the shots after Curry.

Anyone know what the highest per game 3 point average is? I feel like Steph bout to average 6 3's a game at this rate.

Steph can't be stopped. You can stay in front of him...you can't give him an inch...you can't put a longer player on him. There's nothing you can do. You just have to pray that he misses.

Sure, but he doesn't need to. In a 7-game series, realistically, all he has to do is go into superhero mode in two, maybe three, games. The rest of the team can cover the other game or two needed to win the series.
