Yep. A bunch of them are closing in michigan and across the country including the 3 floor flagship store in times square. Was just there last week, it was baron as hell in there. How does a store with a ferris wheel close b

The rent is too high, like everything else in Times Square and the rest of NYC. The store is still around in my area

This one especially for me. Big part of my childhood was going to the video store and picking movies. Hell, even when my wife and I started dating we had a lot of "Blockbuster Nights." Damn you, Netflix. Damn you.
 
Netflix single handedly killed blockbuster and Hollywood video. It's sad man. I still prefer going with your girls or homie and "trying" to pick out what y'all wanted to watch :lol:

they make good original content but their selection of other stuff has really been lacking

like I'll watch their shows when they come out but after that I dont have much use for netflix anymore and just end up watching movies through illegal streams

The point is, people were satisfying their viewing pleasures via the Internet.  Netflex is just a side character of it.  I don't have Netflex, but it seems like their products are on a lag.  Everyone hitting up the torrents already.  I don't have time and neither do others in waiting for a BLU RAY or DVD.
