Coming from a Warrior fan I completely understand what you're saying.  There are so many fans now that just fall into the hype of the Warriors winning.  I keep my mouth shut for a lot of reasons.  When they say this Warrior team is the better than the 72-10 Bulls team I say it's too early (and quite honestly, if the Warriors go 73-9, I'm still picking hte 72-10 Bulls over them).  When they say Curry is the best player in the league I try to ignore it because the reality is, if you take Draymond or Klay off this team, I am not sure how far Curry is going to carry the team.  Lebron ( I hate to keep beating a dead horse with this) won 2 games in the finals pretty much by himself (ok Delly helped him one game).  

The Warriors are a GREAT team.  Curry is a GREAT player.  Best in the world right now??? We can argue that (and we are lol) As a Warrior fan I am just enjoying what is going on right now because the Warriors came from a very low low place and I don't know how long this ride will last.  I'm with you on enjoying the NBA and having level headed conversations.  People look at me crazy sometimes when I say I'm a warrior fan and like LBJ.  I actually enjoy watching CP3, the Spurs, KD and Kobe....that's supposed to be against the rules if you're a Warrior fan but I really don't care lol...I loved basketball before I was a Warrior fan.

They'd be unstoppable if Kyrie and Delly were combined into one player, if Love and Thompson were combined into one player and if Shumpert and JR Smith were one player.  Lol...they just don't have it.  If Cleveland ever wins one with this roster, Lebron solidifies himself into Mt. Rushmore, no questions asked.

Pretty much all the playoff teams in the West are hot right now. In last 10 - Dubs 8-2, Spurs 10-0, OKC 9-1, Clips 7-3, etc.

Yeah, man. If the Clippers ever won a title, I wouldn't care if came against all teams that were so injury ridden they had a bunch of d-league dudes playing. I'd attend the parade with pride and smile every time I saw the banner . . . which presumably would be in the middle of all the selfies.

What does their head coach not being there have to do with anything.. it's not like luke walton changed anything up. I hope the warriors go back to the finals. So tired of the spurs and their reign on the NBA already.

Was Avery the coach when the Mavs had the best record in the NBA and then lost to the Dubs in the first round? I can't remember.

To answer your question - YES

The warriors were a .500 team at best and the Mavs where a 67 win team with the raining MVP. They lost the last game like 110-80 something... but hey Avery was black and that play a role in Dirk getting him fired ... LMAO

Quoting this for future reference. I wonder what this clown will say after they win this year." They stayed too healthy," has already been used abundantly. I can see "they make too many 3's, that's the only reason they won," being the excuse this year.

For starters, I'm not a clown. Secondly, I stated in my initial post if they win the title this year I will give them credit.

Avery Johnson was fired because he peaked too early TBH. In his first two full season as head coach, he made the NBA Finals, won coach of the year, had the best record in the NBA, and produced the NBA MVP. 

However, he went from NBA Finals, to 2 wins in the first round as NBA title favorites, to only 1 win in the first round the very next season. 

That type regression killed him, and they wanted the team to trend in the other direction. 

Dirk had ZERO part in his firing.
