His usage rate has to be over 35% even with Rondo on the team. Anyone with that high of a usage is going to have 3-4 TO's per game. I think he may have the highest usage rate in the entire NBA.

I go to the Drew like every weekend, every summer but that summer of 2011 was lit. Had everyone falling through. Even remember going to the Pyramid to watch Goodman vs Drew that year.

John Wall had like 50

I have always wanted to go to the Pyramid to watch basketball man. I remember they used to have NBA SUmmer League there. That building just looks "different."

If Shaq didn't always play with a ball dominant guard he would have averaged as many TO's too. I remember him always turning the ball over

Using the Spurs as an example:

Kawhi guards Draymond
Aldridge/Duncan guards Barnes
Manu guards Klay
Parker guards Iguodala
Green guards Curry

When the Draymond-Curry pick and roll is getting ran, switch Kawhi onto Curry and Green on Draymond. Then hope Kawhi can stay in front of Curry and maybe Draymond gets suckered into post ups on Green. Trying to blitz the pick and roll leads to too many open threes and dunks otherwise, so I would go away from that plan.

Myles Turner played it perfectly when he was in the game against them.

Those stats are crazy and he should get the award but can you explain how the hell this Center averaged four turnovers this month? And I think he had a 10 turnover night somewhere in there. I've never seen a Center in consistantly in the top 10 in turnovers. Sometimes even top 5

it's not even like he averages many assists. Im blown away by this.
his usage rate, and also the usage isn't that of a typical center.... he is still leading the break every now and then or trying to make homerun plays from the high post

well, tbh the building is shaped like a pyramid.... so that might be why

The Pyramid is about 10 minutes from where I grew up and I went to school at CSULB yet I've never stepped foot inside the Pyramid. :smh:

I just have a fascination with indoor arenas man. I still remember going to Pepperdine and I am jealous that the front of that building faces the Pacific like that man. Pretty place man.

You ever miss it over there?

Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins has seven 30-point, 10-rebound games in the month of January. No other NBA player has more than one

27/11/3/1/1 on the season. Best center in the league by far.
Thats my Center :pimp:

WC Player of the Week :pimp:

Should be lock for January Player of the Month too. January Stats: 32.5PPG 13.7RPG on 50%fg and 47% 3pt FG and an 8-3 Record

happens when the O runs thru you
go look at noahs DPOY season when he was running the O he had high turnovers too but was COOKIN just like boogie[/quote]

Noah has only avg mlre than 2 TOs twice. (2.7, 2.4) and in those years he avg 4.0 and 5.4 assists.

Cousins has avg 3+ turnovers in 5 of his 6 seasons including 4.3 last year. He has only avg 3+ assists once. He has avg more turnovers than asissts every season. His lowest TO avg matches Noah's highest

-edit-
My bad, I see I got answers already  coworker dropped by my office and I forogt to hit enter

My goodness. How is he leading in the league in Usage????

I grew up playing pick up ball in the Pyramid with all the local high school players. It was fun playing them outside of a real game.. super competitive. I grew up watching NBA Summer League there. Then I went to school there and watched a few games

I ended up playing pick up at the new rec center on campus when I went to school. :wow:

Shaqtin a Fool would always be in the position that made the most sense. He didn‘t set invisible picks like Perkins or stay and queue at the 3 or top range like Cousins.

Shaq was always in the block, delivering L + R elbow swings. Shaq was a brilliant passer, especially in the half court offense.

Cousins is no where close and his TOs are due to his inability to understand positioning. I would say that his stats are largely over inflated, especially with that record. Again, he looks good from a daily fantasy perspective and his wild tantrums are entertaining, but his impact in terms winning and dominating are far from what his stats depict.

Shaq only forced it down in the block, and ocassionally he‘ll play PG, but with momentum on his side and Robin abreast. But he never pulled a DeAndre or Ewing. He finished strong.
