Rose may not be Mr MVP anymore but Bulls are not going to get equal value in a trade. At the very least they're going to wait out his contract.

Noah needs to go. Definitely. The dude is even more a shell of himself than Rose is.

At the time miami had a huge weakness on the boards and defending the rim and teams were exploiting it. It was looking like it was gonna be a problem in the playoffs. I was low key hating on them and didn't want them to win so I was super salty when they picked him up for nothing. My memory might be a lil fuzzy but I'm sure some heat fans can speak on how important birdman was during their run that year. He definitely filled a void.

Before he was waived by the Nuggets, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra had repeatedly lobbied Pat Riley to acquire Andersen.[26]

On January 20, 2013, Andersen signed a 10-day contract with the Miami Heat.[27][28] He was signed to a second 10-day contract on January 30,[29] and signed for the remainder of the season on February 8, 2013.[30]

Andersen played in only 42 games during the 2012–13 season but still contributed to the Heat's success by putting up 4.9 points per game on 57.7 FG% and 4.1 rebounds in 14.9 minutes of play. After he joined the Heat, his team went on a 27-game winning streak, overall going 37-3 in regular-season games in which Andersen played. Andersen also gained legions of fans inspired by his head-to-toe tattoos, Mohawk haircut, and trademark hustle.[31][32][33]

Andersen shot 15-15 in Games 1-5 against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, including a 7-for-7 performance in Game 1 that set a franchise playoff record, besting the 6-for-6 mark by Alonzo Mourning in 2007. Andersen was suspended for Game 6 of the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals without pay for committing a flagrant foul on Tyler Hansbrough in Game 5.[34]

At age 34, he reached the NBA Finals for the first time in his career. Against the San Antonio Spurs in the deciding Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals, Andersen recorded three points, four rebounds, and a block en route to his first NBA championship.[31] With a field goal percentage of 80.7%, Andersen finished the 2013 NBA Playoffs with an NBA Playoffs record for highest field goal percentage.

Oh, that Birdman.

OKC is winning it all this year.
Came in just to say this.

I'd hope to face both Spurs and GSW in the playoffs but since only 1 is likely, today I start praying we get the tougher Warriors over the cakier Spurs

Do you Bull fans realize Derrick is owed 40 mil? As long as you offer cap relief, it wouldn't take much to get him. Dude really mentioned KP in the same paragraph as Rose

Rosetta stone still sells tickets for them. Until Butler can craft a believable name for himself, the whole team‘s identity will still be treading water. Booking the loss on Rosetta does nothing. Might as well hold him till maturity.

I wonder how Piston fans feel about getting rid of or keeping Jennings.

I know I'd rather watch this current team with Jennings, than without, even if a trade made them better.

Love watching Reggie play, Jennings play,Drum play, the sane Morris play but, Jennings voicing his want to be a starter, dampens my hope

Rose just said today that he wants to stay with Chicago forever.

But if he's going anywhere, he's going out to the Western Conference.

BET THAT

Detroit can be dangerous when Jennings gets back in shape & is leading that 2nd unit.

I'd hold onto him unless you're getting a bonafide starter or multiple rotation players in a trade.

BJ is the homie, I hope he stays on the squad. I talked to him the other day...the future of that happening seems dim though. He does want to start..he also wants quite a bit of money..After maxing out reggie last summer and Dre next summer, I don't think they'll have the cap. I like what he brings to the team though. A completely different dynamic.

Talked to Marcus for a bit the other day too. Told him he needs to be trying to get Markieff over here. he said 'fam, trust me, we're trying, Phoenix won't let him go no matter what'

So, the homie is purposely trying to get traded lol. Sitting out games. Hitting the coach with towels. And they're still holding him hostage. PHX blows.

said this earlier...

Report: As expected, Lakers will offer max to DeMar DeRozan this summer

Here are the facts: DeMar DeRozan is a lock to opt out of his contract this summer. He’d be an idiot not to. He has one season left on this deal at $10 million. A max offer for him will start in the four-year, $100 million range. Nobody leaves $90 million on the table.

DeRozan has said he wants to stay with the Raptors. There is every reason to believe he means this — he likes the city, he says this is the best team he’s ever been on, and he wants to see if he can be part of a Raptors team that makes the franchise’s first conference finals (or beyond).

But other teams will make calls. Specifically, the Los Angeles Lakers, as reported by Zach Lowe of ESPN (and echoed by many around the league).

“That starts with DeRozan, a lock to decline his option and hit free agency this summer. A bunch of teams, including DeRozan’s hometown Lakers, are prepared to offer him a max deal starting at $25 million per season, and the Raptors know they will have to spend big to keep him.”

Of course the Lakers are going to call — they are going to call every Tier 1 and Tier 2 free agent out there, and they will get meetings with almost all of them. That’s the advantage of being the Lakers.

It’s easy to imagine the Lakers’ pitch (which will focus on basketball this time around): We’ll give you $100 million to come home and step into Kobe Bryant‘s spot in the offense, with young talents such as D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, and Larry Nance around you. This is the franchise you grew up watching, you played your college ball just down Figuroa during the Kobe/Pau Gasol Lakers, you know how this city treats its stars when they win. Come out of the cold, come home.

It likely is not enough. The Toronto Raptors can offer more money — larger raises and a guaranteed fifth season — plus the team is better and closer to challenging for a title than the Lakers, who even in an optimistic world are a few years away. DeRozan is going to stay put.

Unless the Raptors lowball him. As Lowe notes, if Raptors GM Masai Ujiri decides that the team can get by with Terrence Ross in that slot and use the money they would have spent on DeRozan to upgrade at the four, it’s possible. Unlikely, because Ross isn’t ready, DeRozan is a fan favorite who has improved his game, and he fits well with Kyle Lowry. But it’s not impossible.

But the future of DeRozan is not in the Lakers’ hands, no matter what they offer. This is Toronto’s negotiation to lose.

I could see Rose on the Knicks.

That trade will not happen I am sure.

But for Caldo and 1 more player like it was mentioned why not?

I really think his time is Chicago is Done....He even knows it and the front office.
Caldo who?

i sure hope the lakers don't do that. for what reason exactly? why have so many guards? D.Lo, JC, Lou, Demar, etc.

I wonder how Derozan feels when Jeanie says "We got KD on board too..."

5th year and more money still matter then?

3 of the top 4 out west are on winning streams and OKC has won like 15 of their last 19. Separation between the top four in the conference and the bottom four of the conference is starting to really take shape out west
