Noah is probably worth a 2nd round pick only.

I don't see the Bulls getting any solid/starting wing player unless it's a package.

Imagine what Chi could've got for Noah at the height of his play a couple years ago

Now he's so trashy and his jumper is so broke, Chi would probably be lucky to get a decent player back.. :smh:

You never know, there's some pretty terrible GMs in the NBA. Someone might take him on the theory that they'll somehow get him back to DPOY form. I could see Doc thinking that. Fortunately for us we already have a center and not much else to trade. Unless the Bulls want J-Smoove and Lance.

I remember specifically saying we should move Noah for Cousins a few years ago in our thread, nobody wanted to hear me though.

Wish the door was still cracked on that deal, they can take Noah, Pau, Tony and their pick back

they could literally have pau, noah & tony for boogie.... ronho wont re-up then comes & backs up derrick for the cheap

For Noah, yea we'll take it

yep

After returning to action from a sore achilles, Kobe played the most minutes of any laker in the first half last nite. So yea

A strained right Achilles tendon. I wouldn't play man.

Hell no. Especially considering that he's already had one complete Achilles' rupture.

As I've said on here before, I tore my left Achilles' a couple years ago. Went to the doctor recently because I've been having chronic pain in my right foot. Turns out is plantar fasciitis, but the x-rays show my right Achilles' is also degraded a bit. Doctor said no hoops or running until I get the right Achilles' stronger or I'm for sure risking another rupture. Not exactly the same situation as Kobe, obviously, but still. Can't imagine he's not at risk of worse injury if he plays with a strained tendon. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

Noah dpoy, probably gone for a second rounder. Hibbert his runner-up... (ok, don't remember what he was traded for but I remember it was low)

DPOY turned into a legacy award for a few years there. It was mainly given to guys for a couple years' worth of work. Last year it got back to what it should be.

Kobe Bryant missed a game with a strained right Achilles tendon. Then, he returned for last night’s Lakers-Pelicans game only to leave in the first half when his right Achilles became sore.

How is Lakers coach Byron Scott handling his hobbled 37-year-old star?

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times:

“BScott said Kobe feeling better with Achilles injury and will fly with team to Golden State today. KB listed as questionable, probable.

— Brad Turner (@BA_Turner) January 13, 2016”

“BScott said trainer Gary Vitti wants to shut down KB 1-2 weeks. But Scott said he doesn't see that happening

— Brad Turner (@BA_Turner) January 13, 2016”

Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News:

“Byron sounds in favor of Vitti'a suggestion of shutting Kobe down 1-2 weeks. But Byron plans to talk to Kobe, Gary and Mitch

— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) January 13, 2016”

“Byron on Kobe: "My biggest concern is I want that man to finish the season standing up on the court and getting the respect he deserves."

— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) January 13, 2016”

I understand and respect Kobe’s desire to play as much as possible before he retires. But if he keeps pressing now, he faces significant risk of a setback that costs him far more than a week or two.

i agree.

Glad you posted that article in full. Byron does care. He‘s an old school guy with deep ties to Bryant. This may very well be the PEAK in terms of ticket sales from a revenue standpoint. LA knows this and they are trying their best. It already hurts fans if Kove sits out the back to backs.

On the real though, if Kobe can play, even a few mins, I think he can and will. There is no reason to shut him down, so regulated minutes make sense.

i dunno if this has been posted or not but its a great watch. that dude cole aldrich cooked everyone inside. and who knew paul pierce still had it like this? pierce catching in the post is a PROBLEM. im actually learning a couple of moves from him off this vid

YOURE SO LUCKY. i hope its a good game.

Not impressed with cole. You're supposed to cook dudes half a foot shorter than you
so 6 inches is why ur supposed to cook? o_O? dude showed some handles, showed a strong inside game, and his footwork is DANGEROUS. if he could lock down free throw shooting, hed probably see more PT
