I'm not gonna entertain this foolishness to the extent that others have so let's just kill it now. There's no data whatsoever that supports this ridiculous claim. Dame has never, at any point, been better than Wall at anything besides shooting. He's nowhere near wall at any other part of basketball. He plays matador defense, is average at best distributing, not a great rebounder at his position, and shoots poorly from the field given his shooting talent. Dame is good but stop it

different opinions my dude , ill take lillard over wall 10/10 times , wall wouldnt have won 4 games so far if you switched them and the wizards would be better than 4-4 in my opinion 

looking at the standings , why are the wiz the only team with only 8 games so far ? or is this wrong?
 
John wall ain't closing no games with his passing. Unless beam decides to take that superstar step and stop getting hurt the wizards are treadmill status.

Wall hit the game winning shot vs the Magic opening night and made the pass to Beal against SA for the game winning 3. They doubled Wall and LMA was late switching on Beal.

You gotta watch more basketball champ. You couldn't be more wrong. Ha ha ha

I think I kind of understand why people are picking Lillard over Wall. He was playing some good *** basketball to start the year and had his team winning games. He's been back to his inefficient chucking ways fhe last four games tho. 37% from the field and 1 for his last 14 3pt attempts. There is no way in hell I'm taking Lillard over wall.


Why do people always emphasize hitting the game winning shot. John wall does things throughout The game that will put you in a position to win the game. Lillard might be able to hit a gamewinner but unless he learns how to hit 10 pt shots it won't matter.

wall is who he is . i wouldnt take dame over him but wall aint as great as people saying he is. dude never going to be a great scorer and always have trouble with his shot.... you dont want wall as the first option on your team.

Dame has always suffered from Steph Curryish shot selection with non steph curry results. You knew he would come down to earth with his shooting. His scoring will come down too as they get further and further into the season and he gets more and more tired and the losses accumulate.

The idea that one would take Dame over John Wall in my opinion is so ridiculous it's not even worth entertaining.

I agree with this. Wall is considered by most in my conversations and reading NBA articles to be a top 5 PG. Being top 5 doesn't automatically mean he's great. It simply means he's currently a top PG.

Wall has never been or will never be a 25 ppg guy. That's not his game. Scoring isn't the end all be all that shows who's better then who. Curry ended last year 6th in scoring behind Russ, Harden, James, AD and DMC.
 
Last year Dame shot 7 3's a night and hit at a 34% clip. That's literally only one more 3 than steph per game last year. If you want that out of your PG I guess you could pick him over Wall. Then you factor in his below average defense, it's just hard for me to see how anyone would actually pick Lillard over Dame. Far too inefficient.
