I guess you could argue Kobe is the closest thing to that, but him and MJ really aren't comparable. MJ was the indisputable best player in the NBA during the 90s Bull run and was undefeated in 6 Finals. He was clearly the face of the NBA during that time. Kobe can't say any of those things with respect to his prime.

They struggled against the top teams in 2014 too. I wouldn't make any sweeping conclusions about the Spurs based on any regular season games.

If they hang on to a top 3 spot, which I'm pretty sure they will, very low. Can't see them having a problem with Dallas or Houston.

spurs need to figure out how to dictate pace and slow it down and not get in a track meet. the squad that played the heat were able to play fast but this yr's team is having trouble. then again, they lost to two of the better teams on the road, so they shouldn't be too worried
LA and danny green needs to play better.
kawhi is the only guy that is consistent every night on offense. you really don't know what you will get from the older core guys anymore
