OKC is going to mop Spurs if they face them.

I hope we get the Warrirors side of the bracket though, and I'd rather play them 1st round and get it over with so this talk can end, but if it needs to be Rd 2 or 3, so be it

Listening to the most recent Bill Simmons podcast and they bring up the idea of trading Blake Griffin because of the win now mode with Chris Paul..

Would a Blake for Melo trade work?

Other possibilities?

Last week was the first time they aired. The games slated for the rest of the season are really good. Next week is Thunder-Warriors. :pimp:

I don't think the Clippers are trading Griffin in-season, but how about Millsap and Bazemore? I would throw in the T'Wolves pick too, but Griffin is eligible to leave after next season which hurts his value some.

Why wouldn't the Knicks want Blake? Dude is the PERFECT fit next to Kristaps. His window works better than Melos too. The Clips are the one who should hesitate on that one.

I feel like both dudes would be good fits.. But Knicks would have to give up something else, not sure what that would be exactly though

Melo's a big reason why Porzingis has been doing as good as he's done

I really don't see this perfect fit that you speak of. Explain it to me

Melo's been a good leader and willing passer but he's not the key to his success. Fisher's messed around with splitting them up early in games because KP isn't as involved with Melo on the floor.

KP is a stretch 5 with elite shotblocking skills. Blake is an elite inside scorer who's been forced to play outside more because of DJ. For once in his life, he'd have the paint clear on PNR and post ups. KP's defense would help hide Blake's. Blake's a REALLY good passer and they're both good rebounders. They both run the floor really well for bigs. I really can't think of a downside unless you think KP is going to be a 7'3 PF for his entire career.
