Tesla have a new feature on one of their cars called "auto pilot , and apple and Google trying to get into the auto technology as well .. Will it catch on?

can they develop one, probably. doubt it catches on. cars will be slow and deliberate to avoid any accidents. we dont have the time/patience

But they are test cars. That's all. No one likes the idea of being in a car that's easy to hijack + people will try to steal the cars. Maybe in another world but we live on Earth.

They aren't test cars. Tesla has rolled out the update already people are using this technology now.

No it isn't this is being used now. The update has been rolled out to ALL tesla owners.
Here is a guy installing the update and using the auto pilot.

There's an article that came out today about how companies still haven't perfected those "what if" moments such as if you see a group of 10 people and could KILL 1 but save the other 9 would you do it? Or would you try to save them all and possibly kill or injure more. My elevator glitches when people press too many buttons because it's thinking too much. That's the current issue with the cars. When they perfect that, maybe people will consider it.

Automated vehicles are going to shrink municipal revenue from tickets. It will also eliminate the need for the police to regulate traffic. Causing their "industry" to shrink.

No man it's still a test car. My professor has a model equipped with this crap and he said autosteer or whatever its called is BETA. It's a test car.
