Thornton was def a steal

Definitely an ugly win, but again, it was much needed, especially with our next two games being on the road. Howard was the man out there. Not sure why Thornton didn't go back in down the stretch. I'm sure he could have taken much better shots than Brewer and even Harden were throwing up. Harden's 3pt % :x :x :x but hey, he made the plays when he had to. Hated that it even had to go to overtime. 5 missed FTs :smh: those 2 from Brewer were brutal. The overall FT% of this team is bad, and will more than likely hurt us down the road like before. Defense HAS to pick up as well. Can't continue to give up 100+ points a game.

It's looking like Dwight is set for both tonight and Saturday's games.

Also, Bev is out with a concussion, while Brewer is probable with a thifh confusion. Means minutes for Terry, and possible KJ and Dekker on standby.

Welp, so much for that

The Rockets’ hopes that Dwight Howard would be available to play both games of their road trip back-to-back ended before Friday’s morning shootaround began.

Howard was ruled out for Friday’s game at the Sacramento Kings while the Rockets continue to manage his workload in back-to-back games. He is expected to play Saturday against the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Forward Terrence Jones, out since playing the season’s first two games because of a cut eyelid, and Pat Beverley, who suffered a concussion on Wednesday, did not make the trip. Forward Donatas Motiejunas has not yet been cleared to practice since last season’s back surgery.

Though starting lineups have not been announced, second-year Center Clint Capela will likely start with Trevor Ariza playing at power forward, as he has for the past three games.

The Rockets have had the same lineup in consecutive games only once, against Oklahoma City and Orlando, both wins.

Beard finally getting his shooting touch back…looks like a conditioning issue

Wouldn't mind resting Howard more often if Capela produces like this all the time, who's with me?????

Another one of those games that the Rockets made more difficult than it had to be. Should've kept their foot on the Kings necks like the Warriors do, but glad to have a win.

Harden def is coming around with his shooting. Looks a lot more confident. Capela looked good out there, and I continue to be impressed by his growth (on the court). Harrell was awful, and his tech pretty much caused the descent that aided in the Kings comeback.

Even though it wasn't a trade, the Thornton pickup looks fantastic. Lawson will eventually adjust. The chemistry still isn't there, but it's a long season.

I think I'm bout to go left on Ariza. Getting kinda annoyed watching this guy on the offensive end

Lol
