Pete's been known to be wrong about many things.

No question those TDs are a result of sick WR runs and horrible tackling.  Doesn't take away from a hyper-efficient game from Ryan T.

If you think Khalil Mack is overrated as a pass rusher then you don't watch football.

You're obviously just staring at the box score looking for sacks.

If you actually watch the games you'd see he's double teamed nearly every play and he still finds a way to get his hands in QBs faces and distrupt their throws.

He's a monster, and I'm very far from a Raider fan.

Be real and admit you haven't watched a single raiders snap if you think his pass rushing is just "hype."

@dland24  is bias as hell, Raider fans have had this conversation with him dating back to last season.

Late last season he straight up told me Mack wasn't an impact player at that moment in time.

First of all, I watch a ton of Raider games.  Secondly, all of this talk about hype and being overrated was talk mostly before this season.  Mack was NOT double teamed even close to the amount last season as he has been this season.  So the idea that the double teams are what is preventing him from getting sacks is not a valid comment because the overwhelming majority of my statements had to do from last season.  And last season, he was a ghost in more games than he made an impact.

This year.....vastly different.  You can ask any Raider fan to see how he has made strides since last year.  But all the best LB in the NFL/best pass rusher in the NFL talk that I was referring to was came from the offseason, and I didnt think there was anything to warrant that talk coming off of last season.

And Mack has definitely stepped up even this year.  There is a big difference from week 1 and 2 Mack to the Mack we saw on Sunday.

First off, the word you are looking for is biased.

Last season he absolutely was not the impact player you made him out to be.  Every single Bay Area radio show and sports writer was saying the same thing, so to act like it was just me is just incorrect.

Like I said, he has upped his game a lot this year.  All I was saying was that he was getting unwarranted praise last year.  To say something like "he is GOING TO BE an elite player/pass rusher" is not something I would have ever argued with.  But most comments were "he IS an elite player/past rusher" and that is not something I could get behind last year.

He looks like he is going to turn into every bit of the stud that you were claiming he was last season, so just enjoy it man.

Speaking of LB's, if you're a fan of defense, you should check out Minnesota's tandem of Barr and Kendrick. They are absolute studs. That defense is becoming more fierce by the week, but damn them kids are good.

Dude nobody, not Bay Area writers, media, fans nobody agreed with you on Mack last year. Post links to back up your claim I'll wait. 

I never even said he was elite last year, I said he had a massive impact on virtually every single snap he was on the field, which you mistakenly disagree with. 

He was consistently double teamed last year, he was massive in the run game last year, he hardly ever went ghost, you just don't know what you're talking about.

Xavier Rhodes has been pretty damn good this season as well. That's a fun team to watch when Teddy is on.
