The whole reason you're replying to me is because you think one is worse than the other. All I said is if one is okay to call somebody on this site then so should the other i.e. If somebody calls somebody an Uncle Tom or Massa kid one should not trump the other.

All that other stuff was you just complaining and trying to get mods attention to what he said.

Don't confuse me not being phased with letting ppl outright disrespect me. This happened to you not me. I aint never been in argument or discussion where somebody confuse it and say some **** like that. That's on you for thinking you're entitled to be prejudice.

they selected a white manager to play kanye, and one girl who is white made a kanye mask for him... smh.. i kept telling her how he can be kanye without the mask...

I didn't say what you think is offensive doesn't matter.

The comparison stems from regardless if it's offensive to you, if it's okay to use since dudes freely have accused each other of being Uncle Toms on this site and haven't been penalized for it. I didn't see that inflammatory speech talk then.

This thread to me is about a stupid teacher that's white putting on blackface for Halloween which is racist as ****. Everybody disagreeing with that so far has shown to be uneducated and willfully ignorant. This aint a discussion of one thing being offensive to some and it's not to others.

That's not all it takes. Again Anton said before that how can what he said be wrong when ppl have freely called each other Uncle Toms and what not without any uproar.

He didn't apologize cuz he didn't know, he apologized cuz you complained and claimed to take offense. He knew what he was saying and what it meant. He just didn't see it as anymore offensive than when one poster calls another a Uncle Tom.

I thought that was clear as day.

The ignorance I have seen in this thread alone. NT is indicative of the lack of understanding of racial issues in America.

These kids in here are saying it not's a big deal to dress up in blackface, goes to show the lack of understanding it is to be black.

this is a site that grew out of urban culture, and more specifically BLACK CULTUIRE apparel, yet we have proxy racists in here.
 
this is why I stay away from NT and other "faceless" forums when it comes to discussing race, I don't know who is white, black, Latino, Asian. On FB at least when I see an ignorant comment I can usually attribute it to that persons race from their profile picture.

Lol I know the history. For me the context is different here which is why I dont view it as racist. Just the sheer act of a white person darkening their skin and dressing up like someone who is black is not racist to me. Japanese hip hop heads do it and dress like old school rappers. I don't view that as being racist either. Now if dude painted his lips red and dressed in slave clothes I'd view that as racist.

-Lurking on NT for since 2000 and being a member for 7 years, I can say this forum is MUCH better moderated now.

Mods give dudes much more chances now, and truly derogatory comments about the black community get

dealt with. I remember years back there were threads arguing about that very subject. When it seemed Dirty

would snipe you for saying anything remotely sideways about Asians, while worst comments about the black

community would linger.

-You can't expect to like everyone's opinion on here, so when folk step outta line, especially with racial ****, you

gotta be ready you run them the fade.

I'm sure Meth and other mods have banned quite a few dudes for racist steez. I mean that's what lead to Ninja's downfall

-However they seem to do a decent job with the true trolls and racist. Even though some members make my

blood boil, I don't think they should be banned just cause for that reason. Once they keep it respectful, they have

The 1% i disagree with is when I don't think the rules apply are applied uniformly.

-With all that being said, you can't really ask for mods to give you a break, and don't give it others. Or argue

against NT being too PC, yet complain when comments that upset you aren't removed.

Now that, really does go both ways.

-On NT when it comes to race; there are people who don't see the world they way I view it, mean no harm, but

cosign racist stuff either through ignorance or because of the belief "it goes both ways".
