This is the main reason why I don't do couples ****. I'm not letting my girl mess up relationships that have been around before her, or new ones that can be substantial. Woman are too emotional, and love to drag us into their bs. My girl tried to get me to do a trip with my homie and his girl. I said hell no to that, because I've known his girl longer than I been with her at the time and I knew they wouldn't get along.

Fast forward a few years, and she meets this chick who at the time I happened to commute with on the bus to work. We didn't know each other, just see each other in the mornings. Anyway she befriends her, and it comes out that I ride the same bus as her and her man. Now it puts me in this forced situation of being friends . Dude was cool, we chilled and talk here and there but he was just too into his girl. Constantly hanging on her, they both were like that. Dressing alike, going to the same beauty/barber shop. Dude will be in there all day with her after he got his cut. Anyway she and my girl got into some weird *** beef. Long story short it made things awkward between me and dude. I just decided to not **** with him no more because we weren't best friends like that, if we were I wouldn't let that phase me. Since then she and that chick have been playing this up and down friend game.
To this day she still tries to get me to hang with one of her friends and her man. I'm like no thanks.

At least she was respectful and honest. As for your friend, he just got his balls cut off and didn't know how to respond. I'm sure it had nothing to do with you and all to do with him not listening to her, or taking her feelings into consideration.

You sure they aren't insecure about your wife? Keep it real, who's wife is badder? If nothing happened between them, the only explanation is jealousy. Like you said they were there before your wife came along and all was good. If she looks better than them, then it could be jealousy.

You guys have a legit reason to hate his girl. Somebody needs to help this guy self esteem . Nobody deserves a mate like that. Cheating a few times, then sends him to her shrink for counseling? Bet they blamed him and said he was working to much and she was lonely . If they don't have a kid, there really isnt anything keeping them together. Get your boy out of that ****.

I understand where she is coming from asking him to only hang with people in serious relationships who have the same mind set and are in similar situations [children, family, etc], but when it comes to homegrown friends you can't expect someone to just cut them off. Unless you guys were really trying to break them up
