Nintendo will debut its first smartphone game this week

I hope we get something for the Iphone.

So, which major Nintendo franchise will debut as the first smartphone star? Considering these are the same folks who created many of gaming's classic characters, the obvious money is on ubiquitous Italian plumber "Super Mario," but we're hoping for something a little more creative. Maybe a game starring Princess Peach? Or how about the eponymous "Zelda" of "Legend of Zelda" fame? 

Let's stop kidding ourselves: it's probably gonna be Pokémon.

I thought it was that Pokemon Go gane they were releasing? Everyone hyped for that lol. Idk the concept sounded outlandish & dumb tho
 
I wish Nintendo would just make a console that can actually compete with microsoft and sony. I understand that their demographic is completely different... but still.

Agreed. I feel like last time Nintendo really tried to compete with the big names was the 64 and that ended up being an amazing console. It's like they made the 3D jump and just stopped trying to really innovate.
