Vince Staples Critiques 1990's Hip Hop Music Calling It Overrated, N.O.R.E & Tyler The Creator Respo

Heist of the Century used to be one of those rare CDs that would sell for 50+

I had the tape...decent album

I liked the song he had on the Soul Assassins album too

Didn't love or hate "heist of the century". It did have a couple standout tracks tho. And I wish "fifth disciple" was longer. That track is :pimp:

Nah.
The first 3 Killarmy albums are DOPE as ****.

The fact that Killa Sin never took off still bothers me. One of the BEST rappers that never popped. Other than Killah Priest, he's the only Wu affiliate I feel like should've been part of the actual Clan.

Would anybody really miss U-God?
son....repped.  posts like this make me realize the music forum aint in complete shambles

Heist of the Century was :smokin and yeah I remember the hard copy being super rare. I remember being super thrown off when he started to work with DJ Drama and Streets in Lock was on every Gangsta Grillz

Killah Priest definitely the best affiliate though.

Was :pimp:

Bronze
Trife
Killa Sin
9th Prince

Favorite Wu affiliates :pimp: would mention Beretta 9 too, but I haven't heard a peep from him since RZA's "Can't Lose"

Heist was the best affiliate album IMO

Killah Priest is probably the best affiliate rapper.

Hold on, Vince Staples is blue flagging?! I neva' knew that....

I disagree with Vince Staples & Tyler. When your apart of a field/culture. At some point n' time, you should do your research and know the foundation and roots of that particular profession. No wonder why i don't like Vince or Tyler's music. They don't know their history. Go figures..

What's even funnier, No I.D. has done tons of producing and sessions with Vince.

Yeah, I thought of that also. He's an exec at Def Jam and is probably who signed him, plus he produced on his album.

I suggest he listen to Resurrection and all of the No ID Common albums, because he's missing out.
