P Diddy says Voting is a Scam, 'Vote or Die was full of ****'

The only way I can see Puff telling the truth about one of his scams is cuz he probably scammed or gipped a bit as well.

He could just be keeping it real since we're so many years removed from him being apart of that but I find it odd he'd even speak on it.

What he said though makes it sound like there's more scamming and bull **** in politics than he's use to in the music/entertainment industry

Most people don't know what they are building. They get a feel-good feeling about wanting to do something and not taking the time to hash everything out; we've all been guilty of it at some point. With the aspect of business or organizations, I don't think they have an ultimate goal. It's almost like they start w/ the thought in mind of "seeing where it goes" then once it starts progressing, they don't take the time to analyze and capitalize off of it and push it further. Some people just want to be good and that's enough for them, I can't settle for that though

I think the first step should be to build an out line and the question "How?" should be on there no less than 10x so you can get a clear picture of what you want and what u need to do in order to accomplish it.

Biggest issue is folks dont know how to obtain capital and what to do when they get the capital (if they every do). Im not a financial expert so i cant speak on that in a manner of someone trying to teach people, I can only speak on what Im working towards for myself which of course wont work for everyone as it may not be fore everyone.

I voted for Obama just so that i could say i voted for the first black president, but the rest of the state of Arizona strongly disagreed with me

If I do vote this time around I will vote for Bernie Sanders, but I'm not deluded into thinking my vote matters.

Financial ignorance is another dark cloud over people and that's why I'm trying to learn more every day. My mom didn't teach me about saving and investing so I'm almost 30 learning all of this. The way I'm moving isn't for everybody because I'm more inclined to gain more education outside of an institution in order to better myself, some just go w/ the flow of traffic *shrug* but you're right, what works for you may not work for someone else just like what is working for me won't work for somebody else.

I'll tell you this though, this little exchange we had is enlightening and enriching, not only to both of us but to those reading it, I just hope we can all come out on top.

Good insight in this thread, i probably won't ever vote for a president again. I've been slacking on the local elections, but I'll fix that next time around.

Anyone watched Zeitgeist: Addendum??
**** blew my mind.

A vote without money tied to it is useless. Look at the Asian Community, they have very low numbers for national elections, but turn out big for local elections and vote in blocks and buy their politicians, every group does this but Blacks. All policiticians do is show up at a black church and a local high school and call it a day.
Word. Amazing religion that blacks were taught during slavery is still a way for folks to come in and **** black people over. My folks sleep

So now that he's not selling those stupid t-shirts he talks crap about voting.

Heard Diddy wasn't even registered to vote when he was telling people to "Vote or die". :smh:

Maaaaaaaaaaan, I feel the same way. I believe there is a higher power but w/ organized religion, I don't know his true name if he even has one, if he's even a he.

I look at the religion slaves were taught to be totally twisted. How do you enslave people from the continent of your beloved savior?
If Jesus was from Africa, why hadn't anyone heard of him prior to being enslaved?

As for the presidential elections. We need to get rid of the electoral college before ppl can think their votes matter.

I think it would be a good idea to make people pay $2/3 for their vote so candidates won't rely on lobbyists and corporations to sway their views.

Nobody would vote then. People barely want to pay for stuff they need in order to survive

Disagree, I think it would be a good turn out since people know their vote will directly support their pick as oppose to now where people doubt their vote's weight.

It sucked when I realized this for myself. Politics are a beast I want no parts of.

People attack you if you say you don't vote. You're viewed as part of the problem. The real issue is that a viable solution to the disconnect many people feel with politics hasn't been presented. If you point out a valid fault or deficiency it shouldn't be viewed as being divisive imo. The first step is acknowledging there's a problem that needs to be fixed.

So with this, are u also suggesting the dissolution of the EC?
No not at all, I just rather not a have a person make contributions in representation of any kind of company or corporation. As a citizen, you should be entitled to personally endorse any candidate you want through funding them. There's already limits placed as well so it doesn't need to be altered in any kind of way in my opinion.

Edit: There should be a cap for everyone, just read the FEC website which states certain Donors have no limits as far as contributions, which I don't think is right.

Voting? More bs entertainment and distraction. Politics are a circus... a spectator sport where no matter who wins, the league and owners are the ones profitting while the viewers, fanatics and "experts" feel like they're apart of something that really couldn't give af about them.
