In the grand scheme of things, I have to go with DTRT. It still addresses issues of today's society and Public Enemy on the sound track

Skool Daze is my **** tho

She Hate Me, Jungle Fever, School Daze are all really good though.

Nice catch, but intentional on my part.  IMO, Inside Man was a true Spike Lee Joint.  Too polished, budget was too big, A-Listers all over the place.  It didn't have the original grit and rawness that made me feel Spike's work.

Still a good flick though.

If that film had a 1992 rap soundtrack...

I love Do the Right thing but I gotta got with School Daze, i remember going to the dollar movie with my aunt to see it

just the whole HBCU culture, colorism and all that stuck with me

School Daze holds a special place in my heart as well, being a HBCU alum.  But I just felt the story and characters in my top three were so timeless.
