THE THRIFT LIFE: Post your thrift steals.

ross/marshalls/tjmaxx count?

i alwasy walk into a thrift store to see what shoe heat theyll randomly have. i see all types of af1s, jordans and KDs

but i picked up a pair of WTL 11s from ross for 50 bones once

I keep my eye on Ross quite often. Seen Jordan Futures, Clark Wallabees and Desert boots. Never my size but they go quick.

I never came across any good ones for men, def really good ones for women through out Connecticut. Name brand designer stuff too. Fairfield county has real good stuff.

Found a shearling coat for a buck. Still need to have it cleaned. A lot of other gems, but that's the most signifigant

Just donated 2 large bags of designer clothes to the SA yesterday. Someone's about to flourish

Used to flourish so much back in HS. Now you damn near gotta know when the store restocks before the HSers crawl through it. I did manage to pick up a VNDS RL suit over the summer, but thats about it.

Damn you Macklemore. :smh:

I might low key shut this thread down tomorrow. So many dope pickups when I used to scour the racks in my shopping days. Best place to go to find a blazer. Even got a sectional from there for life 80.

How can you tell if stuff is vintage? is there a website that allows you to see vintage goods of specific clothing brands? I've been seeing a lot of Vintage Tommy H. going for a lot on eBay, and heard thrift stores are the place to find them.

^^ that shaq jersey :smokin

Also, I got this today :nerd:

Not too shabby,

some Alden New England , Wing Tip Blucher Oxfords

^^^ nice

I pretty much know its vintage cuz I've lived thru 90s era wearing these clothing that I bought. I've either had it, borrowed it from my uncle, or seen it. I used to burn stupid money on Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, CK, Polo, Nautica, Eddie Bauer, Structure, Eddie Bauer. I know I'm missing some.
When i saw those CK, knew they were vintage cuz of the leather back tag and that CK logo. Did a search on ebay when i was there and yup i was right

Report back if you flip those, I'm going to try and flip the Alden's but it's hard cause they are so nice I don't want to let go of them.

Pops has made some good change flipping some things from thrifting. It's all about persistence though, and he's been doing it for a really long time, before it became somewhat 'cool'

Anybody wanna suggest some good ones in BK?

Seems like they're all spread out, and the ones people usually talk about are overpriced.

Posting for later. I picked up thrifting about a year ago and always find steals. I'll be posting here in the future. :pimp:
