THE REST
- So like I said 4 weeks ago, WHEN YOU CAN'T JUST RUN AROUND UNTIL A RECIEVER IS OPEN, and you have to get the ball out fast; A-rod ain't that guy.

Well, when all your WRs are perfectly covered, there's no way you're getting the ball out anyway, much less get it to them fast

The last 10 posts or so was painful to read.

Speaking in circles to arrive at the one point Gunna started it all off with.

- AFC east is a wrap barring any injuries. kill that changing of the guard noise for another 2-3 years, please
- Denver's defense is playing at a ridiculous level. only saving grace for NE is that they will get a preview before a potential playoff matchup
- AR12 is allowed a down game...ain't going to kill him from that perspective. but he doesn't get a pass for the L yesterday. team loss...he's part of it.
- leveon...damn, man. they HAD cincy, too.
- rob ryan and spags should forfeit their week 8 paychecks

I really hope everyone on that Denver D stays healthy. There could be some really good playoff matchups in the AFC.

With how the AFC is I wouldn't say Pitt is done bout I can't see them advancing to the CC or anything like that

Ben will carry them. If DeAngelo can keep up what he started in Bell's absence then I still like their chances quite a bit to at least make the playoffs. The defense is getting better and turning into a very good unit.

Terrible performance from everyone on the field last night.  Rodgers did a good job of not getting sacked 50 times but a game like that is when he needs to infuse some risk into his game, he refuses to put the ball in danger of being picked.  I know they got it back to a 1 possession game after being down 3 scores but he needed to cut it loose and try to fit some throws into coverage.

The offensive scheme needs to be looked at too... There's no quick pass plays that you see from a team like the Pats when they get backed up by a top defense.

Defense getting killed by injuries.  Last 2 weeks they've looked awful against the pass.  Casey Hayward is a good player but he looked like Al Harris against Plaxico back in the 2007 NFCCG when he was lined up against DT.

Its called hot routes and making adjustments. Short drops / Screens / etc. You know... Football concepts? Sorry running around and waiting until someone is open is fun until you have to actually play ball.

Knew once Fitz went down and Geno came in that they would lose in that fashion :smh: .

That's all I really have to say about the game. Just ugliness all around. Need to pounce on Jacksonville next week if we want to have any chance at a Wildcard.

Nah dog

The funny thing about the Vikes is that they're not even really playing particularly well on offense. They've just been doing enough to get by. Their defense has started to step up but there's still a lot of room for improvement on both sides of the ball. They're not at their best but they're only 1 game off the divison lead...they should be one of the more interesting squads during this 2nd half of the season.

i actually had a post ready to go about the record of the Vikings' opponents that they've beaten. pretty telling. but then when you think about it, you can say the same about the a lot of the top teams...so i was like, eff it

agreed though...it'll be interesting to see if they can keep it rolling. they definitely have all their tough games in the second half. so we'll see how they finish up (Rams, Packers (twice), Cardinals, Raiders :nerd:)

Yea I hear you but they've been one of the more lowkey top teams just quietly taking care of business without much flash or fanfare. They also played Denver about as tough as anyone this season in Denver. They've got a rough schedule ahead as you mentioned but they should be fun to watch.
