Post your observations from Week 8...

-Another wasted defensive performance. Can't ever seemed to get both sides performing well at the same time. Only hope is that the rest of the division keeps losing. Must win game Sunday night.

-Injuries are bringing down several teams this season. It does feel like more than usual. That might be a career for Steve Smith.

-It's funny when the Packers win, it's always Rodgers......but when they lose I see NT blaming the coach. Go figure.

-Media doing what the media does to Dez.

-Falcons losing surprising no one.

-Raiders legit? Nah...

-Seeing Eli put up 6 TDs and still lose makes Romo smile.

-Bengals keep winning. I thought Ben was back after that 1st drive.

-NFL is a bad product right now. Games they're sending to London, injuries, poor defense, poor coaching, NCAA scoring, etc... Just ugly.

-Seeing Bennett and the L.O.B. crying about a legal hit was pathetic. It was just a tough thing to see Lockette down like that.

Hawks:

-That was a really tough and ugly win.  But it's a win and we have a bye, thank god.  Props to the Cowboys for how well they've played without Romo, they don't really deserve this 0-5 run.

-It's funny, I thought that despite being a complete lockdown player his entire career Richard Sherman wasn't that good because he doesn't follow #1s.  But after shadowing and absolutely destroying AJ Green, Torrey Smith, and Dez Bryant (2 rec. 12 yards, OPI to prevent a pick) in consecutive weeks there isn't a peep from that group or segment of the media.  Fascinating....

-Greg Hardy about to become godfather to Jerry's grandkids after that interception.

Elsewhere:

-Bengals

-Rams & Cardinals got me worried

-Rodgers will somehow escape blame or criticism completely for his 77 yard performance, as OP has said.

Knew once Fitz went down and Geno came in that they would lose in that fashion :smh: .

That's all I really have to say about the game. Just ugliness all around. Need to pounce on Jacksonville next week if we want to have any chance at a Wildcard.

-No need to even list the clown or bum of the week. Its that guy who plays QB for the 49ers.

-Steve Smith had a hell of a career. He can still ball but the Achilles injury is the man upstairs telling you go be a family man.

-Bengals gonna set the biggest stage and get embarrassed on national TV come playoff time

-Clowney is a bust

-Brees was looking washed and now hes back. Saints aint getting another QB

-Buccs winning on pure talent. All they need is legit coaching. Dont sleep.

-Elway got Peyton a cyborg arm in the bye week.

-I dont think anyone in the forum was not blaming ARod for that loss. He played like complete **** but lets not act like he wasnt hands down playing the number 1 defense

-Got a feeling Brady will get manhandled against that Wade Phillips led Broncos defense with his check down quick passes as well. Best Pass Rush + Best Secondary + Best run defense in the league = No Bueno

When did Richard Sherman destroy AJ Green? I missed that one.

Good win. Defense deserves the game ball for sure, and we were without Geno for most of the 2nd half.

Good to see Jeremy Hill look like he did last year. Maybe the bye week helped us get a little more healthy.

Tez back :pimp:

Peyton looked like the bye week served him well.

Ben looked sharp early by after getting hit on that knee you could tell he was in some pain and uncomfortable. Still that's ok as long as it wasn't reinjured. Bad INT to let Cincy take the lead
Defense played pretty well, Bud Dupree looking decent which is good
Stupid penalties, some huge ones including a big third down taunting penalty
Tomlin's clock management is horrific, an extra 38 seconds would've helped at the end there
Bell :frown:
Just depressing

Denver's D :pimp:
Rodgers :smh:
TB12 getting that MVP spot ready

Didn't watch a lot, it's almost a chore to watch a full game straight, all the penalties and stoppages it just doesn't flow at all

You can't look like trash against every top defense you play and be considered the best in the league. Seahawks last year, Broncos yesterday.

Yep i agree hes looking funny in the light. Is dude just scared to throw against top secondaries or something?

Peyton looked like the bye week served him well.
They switched him on to Green for the second portion of our game and after destroying us in the first half he was neutralized.

Sherman has made some great plays these last few weeks but feel free to remove Sherman's Richard out of your mouth my G.

AJ Green - Great WR but that was an awful game by both teams. Dalton was in playoff form and was garbage. AJ had no shot at doing anything that day.

Torrey Smith - I haven't even seen his season stats but I'm guessing every team he's faced this year, he's had every CB looking like a lockdown CB. That offense can't do **** right.

Dez - Top 3 when healthy, first game back. Rusty and out of shape. Sherman was a great matchup because they're both tall. Let's not forget bum *** cut by the Bills Matt Cassell was throwing to him.

Teddy Bridgewater was awful for 3.5 qtrs but came through when it mattered most. he was clutch.

Stefon Diggs is good

The media isnt talking about Sherman because hes not top 5. There are WAY better corners this year than him.

Giants

- Eli played on point despite losing
- I expected this game to be a shootout till the end and we just fell short
- On to TB, next two games are must wins

NFL

- Teddy B :pimp: I think the Vikings are legit
- Cowboys losing 5 straight makes me smile
- 9ers still gahbage :pimp:
- Andy Dalton is the only ginger with a soul
- Smitty my *****, I hate it had to be him
- NFL needs to stop sending games to London. Only football they care about is the Premier League.
- The Raiders :wow:

Think it's safe to say that there won't be any changing of the guard in the AFCE anytime soon...

TB playing the best football of his career when he's supposed to be breaking down physically at his age :smokin.

Gronk has already tied Shannon Sharpe for 3rd most TD's eve by a TE :x.

That front 7 is lowkey one of the better fronts in the league man, laugh at the secondary all you want but you can't take advantage of that if you can't get much time in the pocket. The D is really coming into it's own and that's scary for the rest of the league.

Time to pepper that angus Skins

Around the league:

-Gonna have to get myself a throwback Gurley jersey one of these days ,dude is too nasty :smokin
-Minny is slowly creeping up on GB in the NFN...
-GB doesn't look like the clear cut favorite in the NFC anymore.
-Arizona with a great come from behind W but against the Browns? C'mon man . Still not fully sold.
-The Jets and Fins are who we thought they were
-Seattle grinding out an ugly W that they needed,I still think they'll catch Arizona but man I don't see them getting far in the playoffs this year without home field.
-Dallas is lucky that their division is so trash ,they're still in the race even after 5 straight L's
-Giants to the SB? With that BBQ chicken secondary? Right
-Breesus Christ bringing the Saints back to life
-Atlanta is such a tough team to judge. One week they look legit the next they lay an egg...that division is Carolina's to lose imo.
-Chargers are done
-Raiders looking like a WC team these last few weeks, not sure how long that'll last though
-Smitty :frown:,really hope that's now how he goes out...
-Cincy...meh. AJ Green is that dude though :pimp:
-Gonna be real surprised if Caldwell and co still have a job this week...

You say this but have you seen TB's history against Wade Phillips defenses? It's never really pretty for Bum's son

A simple "I was wrong" would suffice.

Raiders are on a roll offensively

-Carr has 7 TDs 0 INTs in last 2 games
-Murray is 9th in the league in rushing but "he ain't that nice"
-Hated Crabtree signing but man he's is ballin out of him right now
-Cooper :pimp:

-Charles Woodson is 39 years old and leading the NFL in INTs :wow:

-That Denver Defense is serious :x

-49ers have become the laughing stock of the league and it only took 9 months

They may need to focus more

I forgot to ask,has anyone seen the $115m man Suh anywhere this season? :nerd:

your right  ...but I don't know if he's seen a Wade Phillips defense like this. Same can be said about Brady seeing that LOB defense in the Superbowl and we saw how he kept his composure. Damn Broncos/Pats game should be good :wow:

Woodson ain't never gonna be washed up :x

Texans
- I guess there are teams we may actually be better than. Hmph. Defense actually played like they're a professional team, and minus some bad o-line play, Hoyer looked pretty good.
- Hopkins, Watt, Mercilus, KJ2 :pimp: :pimp: Nate Washington dying for TDs

Seahawks
- Another dreadful performance with that o-line, yet squeaking by with a win. I thought the Texans o-line was bad, but the Hawks line is miserable.

The League
- Well played Bengals, well played
- Bell and Smith's injuries :smh: Really, multiple injuries in general, this has been crazy
- So much for that great Rob Ryan defense. N.O. got the win in a shootout, but not a single person fears the last name 'Ryan' anymore.
- Dallas had a chance at winning, but you had to know something would go wrong with these accidents. Matt Cassel is NOT an upgrade from Weeden :smile:lol ), and Jason Garrett is the white Jim Caldwell.
- Everybody seems to be putting the Niners in their place. Damn shame they aren't focused enough.
- Broncos defense is looking all time great, right on time for a declining Peyton, yet dudes were still getting open for those speedy yet wobbly throws.
- Lions probably should've just stayed in London. Team is in total shambles.
- I'm watching you Oakland.....

I forgot to ask,has anyone seen the $115m man Suh anywhere this season? :nerd:

He can't play the Texans every week
