He didn't say that he was gonna trade or looking to trade Miller but that he was open to and listening to all offers including Miller. But others said the asking price for Miller would be extremely high/insane. Basically they're not looking to trade Miller but would trade him if some team completely ***** the bed and offers something insane they'd accept. Would be like the Dodgers calling up and offering Urias, Seager, and De Leon for Miller they'd listen.
Edit: Just read something saying its not only Miller but a lot of teams are willing to listen on offers for their closers. There's Chapman, Kimbrel, Melancon, Giles, and Tolleson. But the Yankees would only consider trading Miller if they could get back an ace or big time star, making it one of the least likely of deals to happen. They even suggested it would take someone like Strasburg to pry Miller away from the Yankees.
