I do believe that unless you are black and have had to deal with the systemic racism and oppression in this country (and many other countries as well), then you can't possibly understand or begin to empathize and tell them how to deal with it. That just perpetuates what has already happening/is currently happening.

However, my dad is a middle aged white man that doesn't have a racist bone in his body, nor prejudice. He grew up in poverty and is self-made. He never taught me to see race or use it as a judge mental factor. I'm sure there are several middle aged white guys out there that fit the same description. But it's ok to want him dead? I get the fact that none of you know him or have any personal connection with him, which is understandable why you would be indifferent if he passed. But to celebrate it is beyond me and I hope someone can make some sense of it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: hypothetically speaking let's say you were my good friend. My dad dies suddenly. You'll be indifferent or even celebrating it because he is middle aged and white? Even though you know he was a good guy?
