terrible. Passed on all of them and I wanted the 3m tongues BAD! They felt like cheap dress shoes.

Agreed re. the quality, however, my FR 5s (black tongue) do look amazing.  I'm not into selling, so I'll just hang onto them.  And I don't see myself buying a new version of a shoe I already have that is wearable.  Just no way to wear them all.  Even if the black infrared 6s re-released with better materials and NA, I wouldn't cop; I'm very happy with the '14 release, and a black on black NA just isn't worth it.  Not he same impact as NA on 3s, 4s, or 5s.

I don't think we'll be seeing Grape 5's with N/A anytime soon.  Maybe 3 years from now.   I hope JB does a better job spacing out colorways.  Should release OG colorways every 8 + years in my opinion
 
Both of my 3's and 4's are size 9, however I feel like I could have gone with a 9.5...which is what I did with these 5's and they fit perfect!

 What if they drop the reverse infrared 6's with N/A ?   the N/A would be infrared and black on black N/A wouldn't be an issue

uh no. it will be sooner than that

4 to 5 years since the last time some of these shoes retroed

so probably 2017 or 2018

Last two Grape 5 retro's:  2006 and 2013.   If they're following the same trend then around 2020 would be the next time they retro again,  hence 3 - 4 years from now

Well, that would be a diff colorway, and not the same shoe ;-).  That said, I don't like the reverse infrared, so wouldn't get it regardless.  The midsole color blocking just looks so wrong to me.
 
Definitely gonna be geting these.  Don't know when but they shall be had I just hope there are still pairs available by aug 6th
 
10 years between the OG Vs and 2000s. Then a 7 year wait for the '07s. Only a 4 year wait for the '11s. Then 5 years for the '16s. I'd say between 5 and 6 year spacing for re-released Retros is just right.

I agree. I think if they continue for an extended period with NIKE AIR branding, we'll probably see NA Grapes within 2 years.

If they do continue with this pattern, it looks like we'd get one NA release each of the III through VI per year, about one drop per quarter. I'd be great with that. I can't imagine that BC IVs, reflective FR Vs, and infrared VIs WOULDN'T be next in the pipeline, but with JB you never know. We should find out the identity of the VI coming next February soon enough.

And that's why I'm glad I passed on the'14s so I don't even have to think about it :lol: I've always wanted the NA pair over everything though
 
Said no to them a few times already, sucks that there so available that every store I walk into has my size lol, I might just cop today Becuase of no ovo 12s this weekend which was the main reason I passed on these
 
I hear what your saying as far as quantity goes but I think we're going to see more frequent releases like every 5-7 years. It lowers the resale value for hoarders, it helps J wearers by getting a crispy pair in our hands to replace our beaters, & not to mention the next generation that now have some type of income, will swarm to get the shoes their dad or big brother had growing up.

Nike/JB wants that money so I think it'll definitely before 3 years from now.  Especially since the new release will have NA.
