Nike Air Jordan Retro Metallic V - 7/23/16

Nah we are just tired of ppl talking about the price and the shoes, being around for sale... We dont want to see that Cement 3 NA BS again

Maybe the higher price kept the resellers away. ..thoughts?
They have been producing more shoes to satisfy us but dudes still wanna complain. I wonder what dude was saying when everything used to instantly sell out, probably complaining then too

Exactly who cares if the shoes are still in stores?
And we don't care that they cost $220.
Well I don't even know what Cement 3 NA BS is or was.  I have no idea.  Notice I just joined.  I joined to research and check up on drops, opinions, ect.  Not to have some random ppl I don't even know tell me what I am or am not doing "right".  It's a forum, it's the US.  I wasn't trying to stir up anything, seems like ya'll just have a pretty short fuse.

wondering the same thing ... Not even a shipping status yet ... Is that normal cause it's my first time ordering from them

You should have received a tracking number. I've checked my status and it is currently in Italy but on its way.

HAHA!  So you think the Space Jams won't sell out in December?  You seriously think they adjusted the business model for us?  Get out of here man and lay off the pipe.  You are insane if you think they did anything even remotely close.  People just aren't buying them.

Them still being around is a great thing, I don't see why anyone would have an issue witth that. I also don't see anything wrong with having an issue with the price.

My tts is 11 and sized down to 10.5 wished I went tts and none of my local spots have a 11. I want to wear these now! Damnit! Haha do I wait to size swap at sole supremacy in a couple weeks or just hope they break in perfectly?decisions. Anyway.. og family pic...

Goodness I'm loving these! And to think I considered passing
Buy a pair from FNL and return these.

2013 grapes were hot garbage.  In fact all of those OG 5's that dropped in 2013 were garbage with that hard plastic leather.  Glad I dumped and sold them all.   Only OG 5's I'll cop going forward is if they have the N/A and better materials

This. That's exactly why I passed on them all. Hell, I regret coppin' the 2011 Black Metallic's. I remember seeing some Asian dude with the Black Tongues, on the release date. I was glad I passed. The color of the Fire Red's looked hella off, also.

And don't get me started, on the 3M tounges. The leather looked super cheap on those.

Last two Grape 5 retro's:  2006 and 2013.   If they're following the same trend then around 2020 would be the next time they retro again,  hence 3 - 4 years from now

you not following the new nike direction though

the old trend is gone

that was then this is now

they are retroing shoes faster than ever

Agreed, it is for people who want them.  I'm just saying you think the 3's coming out on Cyber Monday or the OVOs or Space Jams aren't gonna sell out instantly?  You think they made more of this release because "the sneakerheads" complained about not having enough pairs for sale?  The whole reason they charge such a premium is due to the fact that they release limited pairs and all great drops SELL OUT IMMEDIATELY.  Why do you think re-sellers who copped these are all taking losses.  All I was doing was stating my opinion.  Plain and simple.  I felt they were over priced and the market proves that I am thinking the same thing as most, otherwise they would have sold out just like every other premium drop I can remember in the past 17 years I have been collecting J's.

When did I mention space jams? You don't know what cement 3s are?

Just saying I was surprised they were still for sale and available. Which proves that they are over priced.

On the contrary, I don't think it proves ANYTHING other than that Nike made about a million pairs of these. There could be a lot of reasons these weren't an instant sell out, but hardly any of us that have been in here for months talking about them realistically EXPECTED them to be an instant sell out. Personally I expected them to sell faster than the Maroon VIs but a little slower than the WC IVs. That's about where they're at. Online they were sold out on Saturday except for FNL because nobody wanted to pay shipping.

It's not like they're sitting everywhere, either. From what I've seen, they're brisk sellers in SoCal. I heard they did well up in the Bay Area too. SOME sizes still available, but a lot of places aren't still sitting on FSRs.

I'm happy with the quantity of this release. I don't really care about exclusivity. I had these shoes in high school and I'm happy to have then again. Little pricey though had to limit myself to 3 pairs.

Of course I know what they are, I have the 88s.  I was referencing the comment "Cement 3 NA BS again".  Obviously that was referencing something specific on this forum or something else which I am not knowledgeable on.  I have no idea what, I bought the 88s and paid the 200.

Huh?  www.finishline.com pretty widely used site, wouldn't you say?  Available right now in almost every size for retail...what are you talking about?
