If you purchase something internationally with U.S. dollars, more often than not the "international transaction fee" or "foreign transaction fee" has to do with the costs to convert foreign funds into U.S. dollars or vice versa. Think of it as a "processing" fee.

Most likely you'll be able to get a pair right around retail + shipping. I don't see the resell value skyrocketing in the next 3 months considering these are everywhere.

I got that shipment delayed email yesterday and My mother in law just told me UPS dropped my Vs off. The wife and I are in labor & delivery waiting for my daughter to be born and she's telling me to run home and open the box. Lol....them $#!+s can wait.

Definitely bank transaction fee. Customs charges kick in over $200 and even then sometimes you won't get them. I've bought Nudie Jeans from Sweden several times before they had an official presence in NYC and never was charged custom fees on purchases over $200/200€

Sorry I was wrong. It used to be $200 until March of this year when the new amendment came into force. I was talking about purchases from years ago, not this year. I don't know why they haven't updated the info on the cbp.gov site.

Thanks. I just repped you for that. I really wasn't aware that this had changed. Really good news actually. I had shied away from some larger purchases because of the $200 ceiling. Glad it's been raised.

Finish Line didn't get anymore of these than anybody else. They just pull stock for online orders from their brick and mortars until they dry up.
I've experienced it on several FNL orders and I actually like the concept.
