Nike Air Jordan Retro Metallic V - 7/23/16

my V from the snkrs app delivered a day early wed 7/27 at 4:17 pm est

initial thoughts:

The shoe is beautiful man. It feels heavy like good materials were sorta put in.
clean, my pair is perfect except that the "e" in the NIKE AIR is slightly smaller than the rest of the letters lol. My 88 nikeair letters and 2016 cement IV nike air letters are perfect rightly sized.

hope to take some pix of mine.

JD Sport has just cancelled my order :frown: May i know where else i can find a sz9 ? Im from New Zealand and Finishline doesnt take non-US credit card ........:frown: Please help. Been waiting for this shoe for so long......smh
Can you find an online store that lets you either purchase a FNL gift card(s) (ex. http://www.cardpool.com/), or a U.S. issued prepaid Visa/MC debit card that you can use to transact on FNL?  Or can you setup a PayPal account in the U.S., and fund it with a foreign credit card or bank account?  Or buy a Green Dot monepak reload card for paypal?

I like the wc4 but the detail on the tongue looks so bad. They really messed up the "flight" looks all wonky. But not bad enough to pass

Thanks man ! Just copped from a euro site.

But i will keep these options in mind. I'm sure I will need them along the line. New Zealand is pretty hopeless in terms of sneaker releases. Cheers !

lol i added a pair to my cart on another fully stocked site and its sitting in there. what a dream to think these shoes would sit.

and this small E is blatant on some sites, including ndc

dont know if every pair is like this.

What I found was the E thing was exaggerated by the angle of the pictures, and also how the logo kind of wraps around the heel because it's bigger than it used to be on the '00s and OGs. That wrap around is why the swoosh looked funny in some pics.

Like the blue sole, the E thing generally isn't as prevalent as the pics make it look. It's slight, but nowhere near as bad as I was worried about.

this is why u go with force fields instead of sneaker shields. force fields are thin, soft foam as opposed to hard plastic so they're comfy, especially for those that like the snug fit as i do. the thing is tho, in order for them to really be comfy u def. wanna go half size up on ur shoe size. i'm ocd when it comes to creasing and once my kicks start showing a certain amount of creasing i lose all desire to wear them. i like my kicks to look fresh at ALL times.

also, over the past several years with the overall decline in gr quality, jordans have been known to crease bad after only the 1st wear. sometimes even creased out the box. for this reason, a few years ago, i half size up on my whole collection and have a pair of force fields in practically every pair. alot of members think it od, but at these prices i think it's one of the smartest things u can do to makes your kicks stay looking fresh as possible for the long haul. i have kicks i've worn 20, 30 times and they have literally no creases and still look almost look ds with the shape retained. this is literally impossible without force fields. i swear by them and absolutely will not rock my kicks without them.

i see it like this.. when dropping $200+ for kicks, what's another $10 for a pair of fields? with fields on deck, your shoes will have heel drag long before u see any substantial creasage.

You sold me man. I rarely wear my pairs maybe 2-3 times a year. That's why I never thought of using any of those crease defenders. But I think I will start to invest in some so I can get my kicks in my rotation more. Will I still have comfort with the force fields if I went TTS with these 5s?

Jordan Metallic 5s with Nike Air on the back just sitting on sites and shelves in multiple sizes......Crazy!!

came in today and went straight to feet. i'll sayvthey def. fit a lil more snug than the 2013 pairs. these fit like my 3m white fire reds sz 10. that's about the only complaint i have (besides early creasing, although i don't have that problem).

You said it fits tight, so is it still comfortable with the force fields in? Thinking of putting some in my pair
