it looks nicer, in MY opinion. It had a certain richness to it in look and feel and it is more malleable meaning the creases weren't as harsh. But you do you. Go on with your peach fuzzbuck...

I also agree with you. The OG was plush to the touch. It reminds of how bed sheets have a thread count. The OG was a high 800 thread count while this new age stuff is a 100 thread count.... Although some releases are nice to the touch... they are not even close to the OG.

its because the metallics came out 2 years before. Idk why anyone actually thought they would drop twice in 2 yearsYeah, the Oreo 5's are just ok at best. I appreciate the fact that Nike made so many of them and at least they had a different material than others like the Fire Reds and Grapes (Like good Lord the 2013 Jordan 5's were a bad time all around) , but that does nothing to save them as far as colorways go. Not saying that they're the worst Jordan 5 i've ever seen, but they're nothing to write home about either. I remember that numerous people were angry that we got the Oreo V's for Black Friday instead of the Black Metallics and I think it's perfectly understandable why, because the former simply isn't as nice as the latter.

thats not false info buddy. And the CDP were double pack releases so of course they would come out again with the next wave of 9s as a stand alone general release. Nice try though. Besides the Chicagos or even Bred 1s, JB has yet to do a single(1 pair of shoes) general release in two years time.Chill with the false info

As i said, JB has not made it a habit to do a general release for the same shoe in a 2 year window. This doesn't count packs our limited/outlet/special occasion shoes, which is why it wouldn't have made sense for Jb to release the metallics in 2013, unless it had any of the attributes i just mentioned.

I hope the Durabuck is decent quality, but the ashiness problem never bothered me as much as various model's shape problems.

There's no reason to call them "OG" anything, if they don't at least make that change. They didn't fix the superior butchering of my favorite model, the IV's. So I don't think we should hold our breath @Zephyr1983.

I agree also @jaylaw15, the 1999/2000 Retro was a thing of beauty. I'd be satisfied if we got an exact replica of that version. Hopefully they fix the tongue also, & make it bigger, with more padding... It was thin, & god awful on the 2013 retro.

2000 was thinner padding than most retros actually. Still dunks on the OGs and 2006 by a longshot.

Yeah, tongues on the 00's were thinner than the 06+ for sure. Part of that may be because the tongues on the 00 were more pliable. 00s used a flexible reflective coated textile, whereas the 06 and up models use a much stiffer reflective reflective material that acts almost like a shell.
