I want my netting clean but soles to semi golden.
Anyways, my 2011's soles still look good for they're age. The only part that's yellowing is the part of the blue sole near the toebox. I've seen the same happen to others though, on numerous pairs.

Here we go, starting this weekend no more kicks until July 23. Hope they still drop on that day.

A week before my day, hopefully I can snag two pairs. In the meantime, $240 after tax x2 will cost me a lot. Gotta save now.

Use those foam cleaners found at the shoe stores like FTL, FTA, FNL, etc. Their base yellows shoes faster.

On the money. Every 5 I had back in high school, I thought I was doing right by the icy soles by using that cleaner. NOPE. Had my soles looking like Lemonade.

No way. These will sell and sell fast. Black/metallic Vs are probably the best V. At best we can expect a cement IV situation where if you want them, you can get them that morning. These won't be around like the maroons that's for sure. $220 won't be holding anyone back. There's really no other hyped shoe releasing in July. These sold well in '07 and '11. This is one of the shoes were the Nike Air makes a huge difference.

I think the jumpman looks great on the back of the 5 too. To me the 5 is just a perfectly designed shoe with balance and proportion. Looks great at every angle and I think the white fire red 3m tongue is the best color way to show the design.

So you used to use that cleaner on your soles and never noticed the results lmao. I want my netting clean but soles to semi golden.

This.

The soles don't bother me ANYWHERE NEAR as much as the netting.

The netting doesn't seem to 'yellow evenly' either. Meaning? The V's I have, personally? Seems that the netting on the tongue under the laces yellows slower than the side netting. Guessing because the laces suck up some of the dirt and dust that would yellow them. Blah.

Just looks funny to me.

My Black 3M V from the RBP is very much like that. The side netting is amber, and under the tongue just yellowed.

I've still yet to try SC40 on the netting. I've seen people say it works AND seen people say it doesn't. Not sure. Blah.

Definitely impatiently waiting for July. These are [emoji]128293[/emoji] IMO.

Really?? Is this just on 5s or any icy sole because I've been using those foam cleaners and they haven't yellowed my soles.

I think with the SC40, at least in my experience, did work but since it was so hot in Atlanta, caused my glue to melt and separated my soles. Somebody anybody correct my science if I'm wrong.

Lol you real bruh

A good cleaning and they would be 7/10 depending on heel drag amount.

I remeber the OG Vick IIs I had were straight beaters. Hiking, fishing, yard work, rain and mud, ect. I could clean them up and they would look good enough to wear out. The bottoms finally fell off and I tossed them out.

I know for a fact it works on the soles. It works pretty well, depending on the variables at play.

I've ONLY done it to the soles, tho'. Never the netting. Mostly because it's an easy clean after doing the soles. Whereas the netting has fabric behind it and depending on the material used for the upper, it can be problematic/hassle. Much easier, for example, to try it on my Black 3M versus, say? Burgundy V's. Blah.

But, yeah. I've never done it on the netting but know it works on the sole. I read somewhere awhile back that the plastic used for the netting is of a different makeup and that it doesn't clear like the soles. No clue the validity of that tho'. Before the summer's over I'll do it to my Black 3M and find out for myself.

Also, I wish I could raging bull 5s for a good price.

I sold mine for retail. [emoji]128518[/emoji]

I held onto them, looking yummy in my room, for a few years. Then, realized I'm just not G enough for all red kicks and felt guilty I'd kept them locked up when mad ppl wanted them. So, I dipped them at retail. I don't move kicks for profit, so the resell those go for isn't an issue to me.

They're dope and all, but the suede sucks IMO. If they were a Nikebuck/Durabuck/Nubuck I think I probably would have been an iller shoe. Blah.

thats why you gotta buy the kicks you want when they come out, even if they arent hyped initially. Both pairs went on sale down to $150 for both in my local mall, now youre lucky to get the red pair for a few hundred. Buy what you want when you want; never know what trends may arise and jack up the price $500+

I was probably in 5th or 6th grade when they came out so needless to say that I wasn't worried bout them then.
