Jordan's aren't dead, I'm hoping Nike listened to consumers and made pairs easier to obtain. Feels good seeing a shoe and being able to cop with minimal effort, wish Nike had done the same with various retro Nikes.

Let's jus see how they do this blk/red 1 release. If they really listened to us they'll make it a massive GR and kill the 1s hype...not holding my breath tho

From 2007-2012, the economy was in a deep recession and the strategy of MNC's was to cut costs every which way they could while remaining profitable. Production spending by Nike/JB was curtailed, hence why retros during this time period suffered from poor materials and mediocre craftsmanship. Nonetheless, consumers still copped in abundance which allowed Nike to maintain profits while saving money. During this time, Nike already knew consumers were thirsting for "Nike Air" branding but they waited it out until the time was right.
As the economy improved from 2013 forward, we have seen a dramatic increase in production, better materials, and Nike's new initiative to "re-master" the originals by returning NA branding.
In addition, over the last couple of years or so we have also seen other brands such as Adidas and Under Armour increase their spending in order to increase production/profits by signing such stars as Steph Curry and Kanye West, to name a few, so that they could secure a larger part of the market share. A slow but sure economic recovery from recession allowed them to do this, offer more jobs to people and in turn, increase spending and production.

$132. No tax in PA where my friend who has the Swoosh disco lives and my pair is being sent. Paid, retail for 1, military discount for the second ($190 after tax), and Swoosh price and no tax on the 3rd

Hell, Alaska will pay YOU if you're a resident. Albeit, they've really started cracking down on people who kept their residency just to collect. There a stipulations attached to if you're out of state, too.

got two not perfect pairs. The toes part on one shoe is thicker than the other. Not a big deal but still annoying to have when you pay 220. I have a second pair that has a glue stain no midsole and a scuffed and scratch near one of the flames. I am going to try my best to exchange them since there are alot of pairs. Still pisses me off though
