This. LOL. Sounds like we're the same age. I had a tough time getting Jordans back then too. Small town, only a Hibbets and JCPenneyIn 1990, I didn't care. My parents were forking out the money. And you know I had my black metallic pair on deck for the 8th grade

i never done that - i just replace the insoles
cause if you ever want to take the tape off, it might rip the logo - and a taped logo doesn't look fresh like a normal untaped logo - imo - it looks altered

Yeah should have just took insoles out of another pair of 5s that tape ruins it more you will wear a hole in that tape from wearing them and sock lint and dirt will be stuck all around the edges of the tape and it will start to lift up it will look terrible and if you try take it off now it will probably mess up the nike print

On ebay not one pair of these have sold I'm really liking this and the ones listed you have to bid and the bids are up to only $147.00 but they probably have a reserve on it anyway this is good news to me.

Grabbed a pair for a friend yesterday on NDC, loved how quick and easy it was (Eastbay on the other hand had me in line for 20 minutes so I bailed). On the fence personally. Size 12 still available today on FNL so I was about to use my $20 reward and "secure" them but I can't get with that shipping charge. Can't do it...

Not at all. It's not like I can actually wear the OGs anymore; mine have been retired for years. I'm juiced that I can wear these in OG style again. And happy that pretty much everyone that wanted these were able to get them without paying resell. Saw some people in SoCal asking $280-300 yesterday and was like
. These don't seem to be sitting in abundance in my area, but should still be easy enough to find at retail.

Looking at these photos the tongue height on the 2016s is on par with the tongue height of the OGs.

My only problem with resellers is the fact that they buy all of the stock in store and online which makes everyone pay their prices instead of Nike's which is insane. I don't see how anyone can be okay with this. I'm glad resellers have been losing with Jordan releases.
