HOW IS THIS STUFF LEGAL?

I used to take C4 when I first started working out and that rush from the beta alanine and/or niacin has you feeling like the hulk. I've since switched to a cleaner pumps in Siege by royal LTD and Paleo Pump. The energy boost feels so much more natural. I honestly think half the stimulants in preworkouts at C4 are just there to cause that "surge" feeling to make you think it's doing a lot more than it actually is.

And Fyi for the people saying that it stopped working and they need like 4 scoops, you're supposed to cycle on and off the stuff every 4-6 weeks to retain its effectiveness.
 
I know people died after taking Jack3d. Also heard that people failed drug tests because the Jack3d showed up as Methamphetamine.
 
I remember Real Sports doing a piece on these types of supplements, the one featured in the piece was Jack3d. Scary stuff. :x :smh:

 
have been taking c4 for 2 years now working out an average of 6 days a week... been cycling through other stuff as well but just FYI the costco 2 for $40 deal is not the stronger Gen4 sold at GNC's...Costco has a reduced "Sport" version but also have tried 1MR, no explode (is too bloaty for me), jack3d (the original was FIRE...had you shivering and on that super saiyan, but now its completely changed/amped down), had a sample of C4 50X which is like double the caffeine, and now I scooped "Shatter" which is supposed to be for endurance without that much of a boost... volt also was so so but I definitely can't function at the gym without the PWO...

I know long term this stuff can't be great for you because it overworks your body but can anybody really chime in (doctors)???
 
Used to take Jack3d before, think it's banned now or something, but it kind of felt like drinking an energy drink.  Didn't help me that much so I stopped after using half of it.

Not a coffee drinker or caffeine junkee at all either.

yo C4 had me feeling like a crackhead man. Bought it because it was the only one at the time that came in watermelon flavor :pimp:. Joint gave me the shakes real bad bud yeah energy was through the roof. I couldn't handle the jittery feeling I kept having so after i finished 2 tubs I switched to this

As far as the the real long term (10-15 years) effects of preworkouts I don't think anyone really knows exactly what it will do, but with proper research and testing out different ones and finding the one that works best and feels the most natural for you I think you should be fine.i cycled c4 for 3 years before I trashed it for more natural cleaner alternatives. But id say that is you use C4 as directed you should be fine.

Another option that I found gave me a load of energy while I wasn't taking a preworkout was the combination of a thermogenics and creatine.
 
Did any of you try the og Craze though? The stuff that was pulled off the market for allegedly being laced with amphetamines.

Now that was crazy stuff lol.

Cheaper and will give you the same results. Most of that energy is coming from the caffeine b
 
C4 50x is twice as strong doe

But Mr Hyde is wild strong man. 500 MG of caffeine. I used to use it. It's dam near crack in a bottle
 
That real sports investigation happened because soldiers died from using it. They bought it at the gnc on the base. The tests they did revealed some really scary stuff. Worth a look to have an idea of the potential long term effects other than death.

And yes they used almost exactly the same sentence people were saying in here, "after taking it, i felt like i can conquer anything."

The old jack3d was dope. The new one they made was crap. I just do coffee now if I want to work out in the morning.
 
I can't get with that stuff. A redbull had my heart jumping when I was just sitting down in class one day. Can't get jiggy with it
 
I've been using B-nox...I recommend it

Nice pump and energy.  Love being in the gym once i'm there, but sometimes I have no motivation to just go.  One scoop and I switch into gym mode
 
If you can't get through your day with just water, you have issues and should see a doctor. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to go to the gym and work, off 6-8 hours of sleep

I wouldn't say that's necessarily true. Different people have different jobs, different energy levels, and different metabolisms. Some days I'm good to go with out a preworkout. But other days when I work late or don't eat as much as I should and I need the extra push it does the job. But preworkout is more than just an energy boost.
