I just looked at the exchange rate
It's $1CAD = $0.73USD
this forum is predominantly American.
Let's pretend you're on that other side of the border.
Would you take a road trip to continental USA
In terms of gas, it's litres vs gallons
I'm paying around $1.19CAD/L currently
After doing the math and seeing that it's around $2.45USD/gallon
That comes out to around a comparable $0.88CAD/L
Accommodation:
Even with Airbnb, it's at least $90-100CAD per night
Food:
You could go to the local grocery store.
And then a night or two treat yourself to the fine cuisine of Olive Garden and Applebee's
The exchange rate is just way too big of a gap from where I'm standing.
