Like the person above said these schools don't have the money for new equipment. Look at the number of people that show up to HBCU football games. Those stadiums be damn near empty because the students/fans don't have much to cheer for. All of the talented black athletes are running to the PWIs because they're promised an easy trip to the pros. There's a reason why a lot of people say "halftime is gametime" at HBCUs. The only real talent on those fields are the marching bands. Without the top talent the money, sponsorships and attention isn't there ...you get the players to come then all that other stuff will follow , you think some of these schools the players go to now started with big sold out stadiums n crazy fan bases ?

You do know gambling had a million dollar facility for the athletes? That was built about five years and Doug stuck his neck out for the college and the athletes to get the extra dough. Gambling is just lazy and backstabbers.

Hmmmmm I think the administrators will still have their hands in the cookie jar. Need something ground breaking to happen before saying majority of the athletes should go to HBCUs.
