Where do my fellow NT'ers see themselves in 5 years?

Some of my favorite threads in the General forum career and motivational oriented topics. There are some folks who don't have motivation around them, or maybe they don't have anyone to be held accountable for. That can be really frustrating. But we here at NT are all fam. So realistically speaking.

What do you want to accomplish? Life is short. Where are you now? Where do you want to be? What will it take to make it happen?

Here's a start.

hopefully ill save enough money from my fast food minimum wage job because the president is going to raise minimum wage to 15 dollars, then i'm going to take my 3 kids 10,000 miles away to see my girl best friend and hopefully her parents will accept me by then.

I also have to add that it is better to be AS SPECIFIC as you can be. I think this applies to any goal that is progressive. A goal should be MEASURABLE. It should also address change.

Here are some examples:

Unclear Goal: My goal is to do better this semester.

Specific Goal: I will achieve a 3.5 GPA or better this semester.

Unclear Goal: My goal is to be better at basketball.

Specific Goal: I will achieve an 80% from the free throw line.

@BeezyGotSole  - Where do you want to travel to? Are we staying domestic or are we flying international? Your "health" is getting better. Are you gonna run a half marathon?

@HugheyFreeman  - What is your BA in? What are some entry level jobs that you're going to apply for the day you receive your diploma?

@JVII  - What do you want bruh! The world is YOURS!

I don't even like to travel, pretty much anywhere my fiance wants to go is where I will go.

I could care less honestly.

No marathon's I am not a long distance runner.

Health wise, measurable goals :

- Lose 30 lbs

- Go to the gym atleast 4 days a week

These will improve my current health issues.

In 5 years....

Travel: Taking our children to our favorite places around the world.
Health: Lose Weight

Hopefully finally done with college :frown:

But seriously I hope to have a steady job and relationship, maybe some kids.
