The death of Heath Ledger (RIP) was a major detour for that Batman trio. Where the story went after that would have been amazing.
Closest thing to a perfect movie franchise imo.
Though Marvel is about to blow DC out the water. The cinematic universe theyre building is crazy when you think amount of planning and structure put into it. Watching Jessica Jones right now.

The acting on Jessica jones is soooo cringe worthy downright awful. Wanted the cop with the blond hair outta my screen every single time

Acting is def pretty bad aside from Kilgrave(Tennant), but not looking for any amazing performances from a show like this.

Performance isn't even decent at all from "professionals". Story saved the show imo.

Just to add to the franchise movie discussion, what about the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings Trilogy?..Those 3 LOTRs stand up against any 3 movies from any franchise..
