I like McConnell's game, old school PG and a hustler. Would like to see KJ McDaniels back on the Sixers, he has some bunnies.

Who's taking it at Survivor Series? They need to kick it up a notch. Would've liked to have seen Sting or Cactus Jack as the higher power to Bray, not feeling a tag match between Taker and Unabomb.

22stylez 22stylez and john2st john2st listened to half of the podcast. John, I cant imagine the ECW arena being split into 2 since its already not a big venue as it is. I remember getting there early for ECW shows and tailgating seeing people lining up when all my boys and I would do is get in and have seats saved, and using 4 tickets for 8 people, 1 guy going back outside to bring the stubs to the other guys to get in since we always sat in the bleachers right in front of the main cameras. Is the AM/PM gas station still right around the corner? Saw Shane Douglas in their when he was hurt in 98? with the obligatory fanny pack. Also headed to the Holiday Inn a few times to see the Dudleys and various other wrestlers talking to the ring rats, hahaha.

yes they are still there (both holiday inn and gas stations). although the holiday in is about to go through a major change. they are putting a casino by it. and I'm pretty sure they are knocking it down. or working it into the casino plans. and when I say split in two the ecw arena part is somewhat the same. they just knocked the one balcony down. the one where kimona did the strip tease. and the backstage area got extended out into the arena to make a bar type thing. they have old school dj battles once a month there. it's pathetic the new owners wanted to make it strictly a concert venue and realized that the place is a Mecca of sorts for wrestling. and they needed it to survive.

Heard you mention about the HOH event at the arena tonight. Just went on the site and they have one tomorrow in Queens, 5 mins away from the crib. May take my wife and son and see that fine latina Thea. She had that little run as one of Adam Rose's party girls. Whats the crowd like at one of these? Kind of dont want to subject my 6 yr old if the crowds are like late 90s ECW.

A Hennig/Rude tag team could've been awesome. Never thought about their Minnesota connections with the Roadies, Krusher Kruschev (Smash) and Nikita Koloff til after both of their deaths, and if I remember correctly, they were together for the nWo as well.

They need to rehash the angle of Rude trying to kiss a woman in the crowd and it being another wrestler's wife, ala Cheryl Roberts and Jake. Maybe Tyler Breeze doing the Rude gimmick, and another heel to turn face.

That would definitely work, have him flirt with Eden when he comes into the ring for his matches as she declines his advances, give it a few weeks and then have Cody with his face half painted come out and confront Breeeze. They need to repackage the Ascension or just cut ties with them and bring up Gable and Jordan.
