I don't think Kayaa is ahead of Watson right now by most accounts, I dont put much stock in Walter Football. He really needs to work on Redzone, third down, mobility, a lot of that was playing calling, but his jump in his mechanics, accuracy, toughness, arm strength from year 1 to year 2 was a great sign of things to come.

Kaaya is the goods yeah but I think he's the type that would benefit from staying for his senior season

Playing for Richt for 2 years would do him wonders imo

Yea, he's got to go. Coming back as a QB never helps when you're a top pick.

What QB has richt developed?

That guy throwing picks in Detroit.

Ehhhhh.. Pretty sure he was highly touted before he got to Georgia.. And I think he kinda underachieved while there

Before he even played in college:
“Matthew Stafford eventually will be the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft. Write that down.”

Being touted as an number one draft pick in highschool and actually becoming one, shows actual work being done.

Not to mention the work he did at FSU as a QB coach.

Yea I don't think stafford was well coached in college or the pros..

UGA on the whole perpetually underperformed with richt at the helm.. It's why I have zero excitement in him getting the Miami job.. UGA had talent and even with things going down at other sec powerhouses, they weren't able to take advantage

Stafford had the fortune of being the most talented guy in a weak QB class and Detroit having a need.. Sanchez was the 2nd QB taken (5th overall) with his coach openly telling people he should got back to school

Bro Stafford would have been the #1 in any draft that didn't involve Andrew Luck or Cam Newton in the last 10 years.

Honestly because of Cam's "issues" and "arrogance" he might have still been taken over him.

^ still don't think he was well coached at Georgia..

But my primary point with that was he was being drafted more on talent than body of work at UGA
