Remember Seeing a NTer That "Invented" This A While Ago vol. Don't Drop the Phone

Basically, a little loopy thing on the back of the phone case that you can slip your finger into so that you'll never accidentally drop your phone. I remember reading in one of these threads a couple years or so ago about a NTer that was making these (just the loopy part) and selling them for like $2.

Looks like someone else (unless the NTer just so happens to be the one behind the kickstarter) thought of it too and decided to go big with it.

Not promoting this or anything...wouldn't even consider purchasing it personally, but just curious to see if maybe that NTer is still here and his thoughts today. :nerd:

*raises hand*
I made a couple hundred bucks from selling them around the city/online. I also put them in (on) the hands of some pretty cool people.

I submitted my product on quirky but it didn't flourish. Also reached out to shark tank, but never heard back.

Definitely a fun, interesting ride. Props to the NT fam that supported.

Ironically, I get slightly disgusted when I see everyone glued to their device nowadays.

Not sure how you expected to get onto shark tank after making a couple hundred bucks...

But do you regret not pursuing it to a higher degree?

That's exactly why I'm glad i didn't make it on the show, to be honest. Before that, I had never heard of shark tank so i didn't know what it was all about. I wasn't very knowledgeable on the inner workings on the business side. It would've been cool to see just how far it could've gone, but it's cool. It was a fun side hustle.
